She was the third of five children and grew up in the small rural community of Happy Holler. She married William Troutt on November 26, 1949; he preceded her in death on January 7, 2005. She was a wonderful mother to her two children, Judy and Don, whom she dearly loved and for whom she provided a Christian home. Before and early in her marriage, Margaret worked at the Celanese Plant in Pearisburg, VA. Bill and Margaret moved to Flint in 1961, where she was later employed at St. Joseph Hospital as a nurse's aid. During her work breaks she learned the art of doing ornate crocheting and also quilting. After Judy and Don were grown, Margaret quit her job to care for her husband. Margaret is survived by daughter, Judy Zimmer (David) Kingsley; son, Don (Jill) Troutt; grandchildren, David (Sheila) Zimmer, Amy (Jeremy) Hippensteel, and Jason (Nicole) Troutt; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Mabel Brizendine of VA; brother, Frank Hutchinson of VA; and special brothers and sisters-in-law, Benny and Sarah Troutt of Flint Twp. and Neoma and Tony Reed of Princeton, WV. She was preceded in death by son-in-law, Earl Zimmer; brother, Ralph Hutchinson of VA and sister, Marie Fleet of VA. Margaret will be greatly missed by her family, who wishes to thank both the fine staff at the memory impaired unit at Hyde Park, and Judy and Sharon of the Samaritan Care Hospice at Southfield for their loving care. on May 22, 2007.2

He was very meek and had a sweet, sweet spirit. He was very loved by his family and all who knew him. His hobbies included gardening and fishing. He loved spending time with his family who already miss his quiet sweetness. They were so blessed by him. Preceding him in death was his father, Frank Hutchison Sr; mother, Gaye Hutchison Howard; sisters, Mabel Brizendine, Marie Fleet, Margaret Trout, and Shirley Duncan; and brother, Ralph Hutchison. His surviving family includes his wife of 58 years, Frances Hutchison; son, Rick Hutchison and wife, Sue; granddaughter, Mandy Hartman and husband, Jason; siblings, Barbara Agnor and husband, Delton, and Stella Collins; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Roanoke. The family would like to thank Jeff and Katie in the MICU at Lewis-Gale Medical Center as well as the special friends who came to visit Frank. on September 12, 2013.6

     Robert Ellis Brizendine Robert Ellis Brizendine, 79, of Powhatan, died at his residence on August 10, 2019. Robert was born July 10, 1940 in Craig County, Virginia to Mabel and Odell Brizendine, who preceded him in death. Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Clorene Alls-Brizendine; their children, Deborah, James (Susan), Wesley (Richard) and Selena; and grandchildren Ryan, Jade, Hunter, Brandon, Rachel and Amber. He was also loved and adored by his three great-grandchildren Allen, Nicole and Thomas. Additional survivors include his brothers, Roger (Patsy), Terry (Karen) and Jake, all of Blacksburg, Virginia. Robert was a gifted athlete, excelling at a young age in baseball and golf. He was an avid sportsman who loved to hunt and fish. He was well known and will be fondly remembered for his selflessness and generosity. Robert was the kind of man who would go hungry so others would not.3 He was born on July 10, 1940 at Craig Co., Virginia.2,3 He married Clorene Alls circa 1960.3 Robert Ellis Brizendine died on August 10, 2019 at Powhatan, Powhatan Co., Virginia, at age 79.3
