She was a retired laboratory technician for Hercules, Inc. at Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. She was a member of Longdale Baptist Church in Botetourt County, Virginia. Connie was an artist in different media. She also enjoyed crocheting, quilting, and gardening. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and loved her dog, Duchess. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Graham Tingler and Richard Tingler, Jr; a sister, Nelle Fuller; and a step grandson, Ben Jones. She is survived by her husband, John Lawrence Uarich, Jr. of Powhatan; a daughter, Pamela Rhoney and husband, Bill of Powhatan; two step daughters, Laura Campbell of Covington and Linda Jones of Buena Vista; three grandchildren, Brittany Rhoney, Jonathan Rhoney, and Cameron Rhoney; three step grandchildren, Moriah Barger, Hayley Campbell, and Jesse Campbell; three step great grandchildren; and three nephews. Interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park, Low Moor.
