He was born at Scranton March 28, 1913 a son of Charles and Mary Buletza Tautin. He was a welder at Sunbeam Equipment Corp., now Seco-Warwick, until his retirement in 1978. Mr. Tautin was a member of the St. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, Crossingville; was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Air Force ground crew; and, belong to Vernon Township Volunteer Fire Department. Survivors include one son, Daniel C. Tautin, Meadville; one daughter, Mrs. Larry (Barbara) Baker of Saegertown; a sister, Mary Halko of Springboro; a brother, John Tautin of Conneautville; and, four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ann Maruska, and a brother Mike. A burial service will be held at St. Peter and Paul Church Wednesday at 10 a.m. with Rev. Dennis Hendershot, pastor of the church, officiating. Interment will be in the St. Peter and Paul Church Cemetery. on October 22, 1991.4

Shirley was born Friday, May 14, 1937 in Red Creek, a daughter of the late Henry Snyder and Jennie Judy Snyder. Shirley was one of fourteen children. She has lived in Ravenna for the past 12 years, formerly of Mantua, OH and Parsons. On July 7, 1984 Shirley married Robert E. Allison. They were blessed with 18 years of marriage before his passing on October 21, 2002. Left to cherish Shirley’s memory are four children, Shirley Ann Plum of Hambleton, Cindy Bennett of OH with whom she lived, Ginger Bennett of Grantsville, and Chuck Bennett of OH with whom she lived, five siblings, Lena Pennington of Elkins, Betty Bonner, Sharon Nestor and husband Walter, Kelly Snyder and wife Adeline and Bill Snyder, all of Parsons, three grandchildren, Charles Bennett, Marshall Sommerville and Christy Mason and 3 great grandchildren. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Charles Bennett, her husband, Robert and eight siblings, Tacie DeWalt, Gaye Day, Muriel Simmons, Opal Griffith, Patti McDaniel, Gerald, Hoy and Kenneth Snyder. Shirley was a farmer for eighteen years and for seven years she was the owner and operator of Bennett's Bookstore in Ravenna. She enjoyed cooking, reading, animals and loved her cats. Shirley took great pride and enjoyment in working. A visitation will be held at the Summerfield Funeral Home Tuesday from 6P- 8P. A funeral service will be held conducted Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Rev. Pat Cassidy will officiate and interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery in Holly Meadows.1 She was born on May 14, 1937 at Red Creed, Tucker Co., West Virginia.1,2 As of July 7, 1984,her married name was Allison.1 She married Robert Ellsworth Allison, son of Verda Clarence "Bertie" Allison and Myrtle C.
