     Rosella Dunlap was buried at Hope Cemetery, Cranesville, Erie Co., Pennsylvania.3,2 Her Social Security Number was 177-03-5706.1 She Rosella Byham, 85, of Owasso, OK, and formerly of Meadville, died Saturday, April 17, 2004 at Hillcrest Medical Center, Tulsa, OK. She was born December 10, 1918 in Albion, a daughter of the late Charles W. and Mabel Cutshall Dunlap. She had been married to Lee Black and subsequently married John C. Byham January 11, 1997. He preceded her in death December 13, 2002. She was a 1935 graduate of Randolph-East Mead High School. She worked as a custodian at Northwestern School District for 24 years. She was a homemaker who also was owner/operator of Albion Lanes. She had previously been a pinball machine vendor and worked in appliance and propane gas sales. She enjoyed bowling and knitting. She was a former volunteer at Meadville Medical Center, Crawford County READ program, and Hotline in Erie, a former United Way program. She was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Baker of Owasso, OK; 5 sons, Charles Dunlap and his wife Mary of Silsbee, TX; Lee Edward Black and his wife Jaquelin of Houston, TX; Francis Black of Lexington, KY; Glen Black and his wife Grace of Albion; and T.J. Black and his wife Cindy of Conneaut, OH; a step-daughter, Judith Ridle of Meadville; 2 stepsons, William R. Byham and his wife Marsha of Guys Mills and John F. Byham and his wife Mary Ann of Meadville; a brother, Leroy Dunlap and his wife Lucy of El Paso, TX; a sister, Frances Brooks of Albion; 27 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son Henry Allan Smith; 3 brothers, Allan, Harry, and Edward Dunlap; and 2 sisters, Gladys Carr and Lee Wolfe. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at a date and time to be announced. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery, Elk Creek Township, Erie County.2 She was born on December 10, 1918 at Albion, Erie Co., Pennsylvania.1,2 As of August 16, 1942,her married name was Black.4 She married Lee Edward Black, son of Milford Royal Black and Mary E.      John Walter Dayton was buried at Saint Walburga Cemetery, Titusville, Crawford Co., Pennsylvania.1,2 He was born on May 3, 1912 at Clarion, Clarion Co., Pennsylvania.1,3 He married Twila Mildred Black, daughter of Milford Royal Black and Mary E. "Mollie" Whisner, on February 9, 1935 at Clarion, Clarion Co., Pennsylvania.1,4 John Walter Dayton Mr. John W. Dayton, 81, of Titusville, RD 5, died at 6:24 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 1993, at the Titusville Area Hospital. Mr. Dayton was born May 3, 1912 in Clarion, a son of the late James E. and Emma L. Guetthoff Dayton. He was married to the former Twila Black on Feb. 9, 1935 in Clarion. He had been employed by Penelec as an electrical trouble and service man for 29 years until his retirement in 1974. He was a member of St. Walburga Church; a member of the IBEW and was also a former Union steward, and was a member of AARP. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons: Walter E. Dayton of Chicago, Ill. and Michael F. Dayton of Norcross, Ga; three daughters: Mrs. John (Mary) Naber of Westchester, Pa., Mrs. Roger (Betty) Richards of Eighty Four, Pa., and Miss Ann Dayton of Titusville, RD 5; 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Walburga Church with Rev. Rocco Tito, pastor, as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Walburga Cemetery. on July 13, 1992.1 He died on June 24, 1993 at Titusville, Crawford Co., Pennsylvania, at age 81.1

Born in Titusville, PA in 1936, she was the daughter of the late John and Twila (née Black) Dayton. She moved to Wallingford, PA when she was 18. She met John and married him in 1960. She was a graduate of West Chester University, where she received her Bachelor Degree in Social Work. She worked at St. Francis Hospital in Wilmington, DE. In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her brother, Walter Dayton. Mary was the beloved wife for 60 years of John Naber; loving mother of John (Cara) of Louisville, KY, Dina Ogden (Bob) of Downingtown, PA, Charles (Chrissy) of Norristown, PA, Mark (Susan) of Louisville, KY, Joe of Elverson, PA, Michelle Mattson (Jim) of Exton, PA and Liz Dumond (John) of Honey Brook, PA; devoted grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; and dear sister of Betty Richards, Barbara Ann Dayton and Michael Dayton (Mary Ann). Mary was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Throughout her illness, she always kept her kindness, her smile and her humor. Relatives and friends are invited to her Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM Friday, September 4, 2020 at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Ct., West Chester, PA 19382. Interment will be private due to Covid-19 restrictions. on September 1, 2020.2
