Whisner, who died in 1967. Mrs. Whisner, a housewife, was affiliated with the United Methodist Church. Surviving are three sons, Eugene L. Slicker of Ravenna, Ohio, Bernard M. Slicker of Hobart, Ind. and Donald M. Slicker of New Castle; 20 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two stepsons, Orvil Whisner of New Jersey and William Whisner of Shippenville RD; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Harold (Twila) Gilford of Lickingville; six step grandchildren and one step great granddaughter. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters and one daughter. Friends may call at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home, Clarion, where the family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home with Rev. George Crooks, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, Clarion, officiating. Interment will be in Star cemetery. on March 15, 1973.1
