Delaney, 82, of Willowick, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at the Louis Stokes Wade Park Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Mr. Delaney was born in Bradford, Pa. and was a high school teacher in Mifflinburg, Pa. where he taught history and was a track coach there for 33 years. He was also a veteran of the Navy serving in the Korean War and a lifetime member of the American Legion. He is survived by his children Kevin (wife Cynthia), of Connecticut, Kathleen (husband Richard) Gillespie, of Nevada and Valerie (husband Robert) Vargo, of Euclid, Ohio; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Rita Pitts. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Edith Zamberlan, parents Nellie (Campbell) and Aleck Delaney and sister Dawn Kriz. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10 a.m. Monday, March 16, 2015, at St. Noel Catholic Church, 35200 Chardon Road, Willoughby Hills, Ohio. Burial with military honors will follow in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township. on March 13, 2015.1

Frances L. Zamberlan Frances L. Cummiskey, 66, of 3 Burnside Ave., passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, October 20th, 2011, after a brief stay at The Pavilion at BRMC, she was surrounded by her loving family. Born January 18, 1945, in Lewis Run, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Florence (Barr) Zamberlan. On May 16, 1964 at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church she married Gene P. Cummiskey who survives. Mrs. Cummiskey was a 1962 graduate of St. Bernard High School. She had worked for J.C. Penneys for ten years and then at KOA Speers for 22 years in sales and service. She loved to travel with her husband, time spent at the Casino, sitting around campfires with grandchildren, walking, shopping and spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church. In addition to her husband of 47 years she is survived by two daughters, Colleen Bryner and Jill Cummiskey both of Bradford, a son, James (LaRen) Cummiskey of Kailua Kona, Hawaii, seven sisters, Patricia Butler of Lewis Run, Helen Mott of Lackawanna NY, Pauline Turnham of Lewisville, TX, Joan Crooks of Youngsville, Marilyn Phivelic of McKeesport, Theresa Schrawder of Lewisburg, and Martha Drake of Strongsville, OH, four brothers, Ted Zamberlan of Lewis Run, John Zamberlan of Eugene, OR, Pete Zamberlan of Westline, and Jim Zamberlan of Houston, TX, four grandchildren; Evan Frisina, Erin Frisina, Blake Tyger and Drew Tyger and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister Edith Delaney. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, October 29, 2011, at 10:00am in St. Francis of Assisi Church with Rev. Steven Collins, pastor as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery. Fr. John Neff officiating.
