Louise Hattie Reed Fairview ~ Louise Reed Justice of the Fairview community died Saturday, June 10, 2006 following a brief illness. Mrs. Justice was of the Methodist faith, a native of Buncombe County, a daughter of the late Oscar and Cora Dotson Reed, and the widow of Granville Justice who died in 2001. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by three sisters, Marie Mason, Nell McIntyre, and Mabel Randall, and brothers Zeb, Claude, and Vernon Reed. Mrs. Justice is survived by a sister, Sara Searcy and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Justice and her late husband owned and operated a dairy farm in Fairview for a number of years. Prior to that time she was employed by Asheville Mica Company having worked at various times in Asheville, Spruce Pine and in Virginia. A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 2:00 pm in Bethany United Methodist Church cemetery with Rev. Dr. Don McIntyre and Rev. Glenna Bramlet officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Area Hospice, P.O. Mr. Danforth was a member of the Hump Pilots Association, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, Retired Eastern Airlines Pilots Association, Eastern Airlines Retirees Association and the Treasure Coast Chapter of the Florida Aero Club. He attended the Riverside Church Assembly of God in Sebastian. Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Bonnie; four daughters, Sherry Thornsbury, of Trinity, N.C., Debra Danforth and Susan Stetson, both of Fellsmere, and Paula Graham, of Raymond, N.H; and four grandchildren. An outdoor memorial service will be 3 p.m. Friday at the Riverside Church Assembly of God, 11205 Roseland Road, Sebastian, with the Rev. Thomas Kempf and the Rev. Bernie VanEyck officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to the Riverside Church Assembly of God, 11205 Roseland Road, Sebastian, Fla., 32958, or the VNA Hospice House, 1111 36th St., Vero Beach, Fla., 32960, in Mr. Danforths memory. Fountainhead Memorial Funeral Home, Palm Bay, is in charge of the arrangements. on January 17, 2001.4
