Riley, Kan., Robert Flowers and wife, Katrina, of Lexington, Va., and Christopher Flowers, of Montgomery, Ala; sisters-in-law, Christina Hypes and husband, Stevie, and Lydia Flowers, all of Albany, Ga; God mother, Gina Johnson, of Salem; and a number of nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Military Family Support Center, P.O. Box 1122. Salem, Va. 24153. Funeral Services will be conducted 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 7, 2010, at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road. Interment will follow in First Baptist Church Cemetery, Elliston. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service at Simpson Funeral Home, 540-366-0707. on August 6, 2010.3

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Leroy Ervin. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Saturday at the Lange Funeral Home in Centerville. Cremation will follow. A memorial has been established to the Jodell Ervin Memorial Fund and may be left or mailed to the Lange Funeral Home, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa 52544. on February 16, 2012.3 She died on February 23, 2012 at Iowa City, Johnson Co., Iowa, at age 55.3
