The Rev. L. A. Garten and the Rev. John Richardson will be in charge of services. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Terry died in a local hospital at 8:30 a.m. Sunday after a short illness. Born at Surveyor, June 8, 1939, he is a son of Esta Clemens Terry of Surveyor and the late Floyd C. Terry, who died July 1, 1965. He was a lifelong resident of Raleigh County, a graduate of Trap Hill High School, and he attended Beckley College. Terry was assistant manager of the Acme Super Market on Valley Drive and was a member of the Mabscott Christian Church. Other survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lucy Sanger Terry; a daughter, Melonie Ann, at home; three sisters, Mrs. Jack (Jewel) Deck of Mabscott, Miss Gloria Terry and Miss Teressa Terry both of Surveyor and four brothers, Kendall and Norris, both of Lester, Eugene of Eccles and Buford of Surveyor. The body is at the Melton Mortuary, where friends may call after 5 p.m. today and will be taken to the church one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Perry Day, Ronnie O'Dell, Darin Permelia, Bobby Elkins, Roger Goodson, Virgil Meadows, Darrell Sauls, John B. Houck Jr., John Daniel and John McKinney. on April 21, 1967.²
