Kollar died on November 12, 1909 at Center Township, St. Joseph Co., Indiana, at age 66.5,6,7,1 He Josiah D. Kollar, of Center township, mention of whose demise was made in yesterday's Tribune, died at 9 o'clock Friday morning at his home, six miles south of the city. Death was due to heart trouble and came after four weeks' illness. Mr. Kollar was born in Tuscarawas county, Ohio, April 22, 1843, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kollar. The family moved to this county soon after his birth and, with the exception of five years spent in Missouri, Josiah Kollar lived here all his life. He was married to Miss Sarah Smith Feb. 26, 1854, in this county, and is survived by her and six children, all of whom reside within the county.
The children are James, Thomas, William, Alice, Irene and Blaine Kollar. Brothers and sisters of the deceased are Thomas, of Center township; James Kollar, Mrs. Eliza Hupp and Mrs. Christopher Smith, of South Bend, and Mrs. Theodore Jones, of Queen City, Mo. Funeral services will be held at the residence in Center township Monday. Representatives of Auten post, No. 8, G. A. R., will be in charge and the Sons of Veterans will attend. Interment will be in Palmer Prairie cemetery. on November 13, 1909.6

Kollar was buried at Highland Cemetery, 2257 Portage Avenue, South Bend, St. Joseph Co., Indiana.4 He was born on September 28, 1868 at Indiana.3,6 He married Henrietta Fryar on September 9, 1896 at St. Joseph Co., Indiana.5,8,9 William L. Kollar William Kollars, 49 years old, residing three-fourths of a mile south of Lakevill, died Thursday evening from injuries recieved when struck at 6:05 p.m. by a Vandalla train about one mile south of Lakeville. Mr. Kollars was still alive when picked up after the accident, but died while being brought to this city. Mr. Kollars was driving a team of horses home and had taken a short cut along the railroad track. He was born in St. Joseph county on the Turkey creek road Sept. 28, 1868, and had lived in the vicinity all of his life. Surviving are his wife, Henrietta; his mother, Mrs. Sarah Kollars, residing six miles south on the Michigan road; five daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Elchorst, of Lakeville, Mrs. Grace Short, of Culver, Ind; Velva, Genevieve and Pearl, all at home; three brothers, James, of Hamlet, Ind; Blaine, of Greenville, Ill., and Thomas, of this city, and two sisters, Mrs. Alice Enyert and Mrs. Irene Kaser, both of this city. on January 31, 1918.6 He died on January 31, 1918 at South Bend, St. Joseph Co., Indiana, at age 49.3,6,10
