Friends may call at Pocahontas Union Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Wednesday and at the church one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers: W. A. Shutt, Jimmy Suit, Russell Garrett, Ed Dillow, E. L. He served in the U.S. Navy as a chief gunner's mate in the South Pacific during World War II. In addition to his parents, Johnson was preceded in death by his wife, Vivien F. Wagner; two brothers, two sisters, three nephews, one niece and one great niece. Survivors include daughter, Brenda Moore and husband David of Dawson, Georgia; son, David Wagner of Tazewell, Virginia; niece, Patty Johnson of Chesterfield, Virginia; granddaughter, Deidre Johnson of Albany, Georgia; and two great granddaughters. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 1:00 pm at the Rodriguez Bluefield Funeral Home, 210 South College Ave., Bluefield, Virginia with the Rev. Norman Wilhoit officiating. Internment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, West Virginia. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be friends of the family. on February 10, 2015.⁵
