In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Mabel S. Martin, one son, William Raymond “Tex” Martin, and one sister, Nancy Martin. He is survived by two sons, Thomas Dean Boyd (Susie), and Richard Martin (Teresa); one daughter, Patricia McDorman, one sister, Loraine Joyce; seven grandchildren, Tanya Boyd Stultz, Jessica Lane Roop, Courtney Boyd Fain, Cody Warren Martin, Helen Maria Martin, Ashley Nicole Martin, and Montana Dean Meeks; and ten great grandchildren, Dalton Rae Blevins, Billi Dean Grindstaff, Vinnie Sue Harter, Elsie Sophia Meeks, Tanner Eli Stultz, Jacob Reid Stultz, James Evan Roop, Jackson Lee Fain, Abigail Rylee Stultz, and Callalei Elisabeth Martin. Charles Wilton Sigmon Charles Wilton Sigmon, 70, of Axton, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at his residence. He was born December 15, 1951, in Bassett, to the late Melvin and Ada Janey Sigmon. He had worked in maintenance with Ridgeway Clocks. He was in a hunting club, loved fishing, hunting, and woodworking. He loved to mow his yard, was always willing to help friends and neighbors, and to be there for them and he loved each one of them. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Louise McGhee, Mabel Martin, Evelyn Dunford and Dorothy Saul; and his brothers, Lewis Sigmon and Robert Sigmon. Charles is survived by his wife, Gaynell Murdock Sigmon; God-daughter, Mickey Dalton; son, Chris Sigmon; sisters, Mae Naff and Gay Thomas; special niece, Julia Ann Comfort; sister-in-laws, Gracie Sigmon, Lorene Murdock, and Bonnie Murdock; several other nieces and nephews; and his special fur baby, "Marlee".4 He was born on December 15, 1951 at Martinsville, Virginia.1,2,4 He married Gaynell Ruth Murdock on December 23, 1972 at Martinsville, Virginia.1,4 Charles Wilton Sigmon died on May 10, 2022 at Axton, Henry Co., Virginia, at age 70.4
