He then served in the United States Air Force and after being discharged moved to Nevada. He lived in Nevada for 40+ years. Charles D. Knouse worked for Trans World Airlines from 1960 until retiring on November 1, 1983. Lastly, Charles retired from the Clark County (Nevada) Assessor's office in 1995. Charles had been living in Alba, Michigan since June 2005. His hobbies included rock hunting and he was a true animal lover. Mr. Knouse will be remembered by his family as a wonderful father who loved his family and treasured his grandchildren. He is survived by family and friends. His parents Charles Sr. & Mildred (Snyder) Knouse and his brother David Paul Knouse preceded him in death.
