     Wilma Imogene Dalton Wilma Imogene Martin, 83, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2020, at her home. She was born in Carroll County to the late Moody and Myrtle Dalton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Roger and Curtis Dalton and sisters Clara Moran, Ruth Joyce, and Faye Burcham. Wilma is survived by her husband of 65 years, Fred Martin of the home; her six daughters, Debra Blackwell of Auburn, WA; Sandra Pilotte of Christiansburg; Irene Addiss of Laurel Fork; Becky Beasley of Hillsville; Christine Christianson of Roanoke; and Ann Bullins of Galax; brothers Wayman Dalton of Pulaski, Moody Dalton, Jr. and Richard Dalton of Hillsville; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. All who knew Wilma found her to be a caring and compassionate person. She put the needs of others before her own and was a patient and attentive listener. Before her illness, she enjoyed tending her flower gardens, cooking, and spending time with her family.⁴ She was born on November 26, 1936 at Carroll Co., Virginia. As of circa 1955,her married name was Martin.⁴ She married Fred Ford Martin circa 1955.^3,4,6 Wilma Imogene Dalton died on March 18, 2020 at Carroll Co., Virginia, at age 83.⁴

     Lillian Faye Dalton was buried at Liberty Hill Cemetery, Hillsville, Carroll Co., Virginia.⁴ She Lillian Faye Burcham, 78, of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Burcham was born in Carroll County to the late Moody Tipton & Myrtle Dalton. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters and one great-grandchild. Survivors include her husband, Lonnie Monroe Burcham of the home; daughters & sons-in-law, Sarah & Bruce Burcham of Woodlawn, Kathleen & Kenneth Combs of Galax, and Rhonda Gay Sumner of Hillsville; sons & daughters-in-law, Frankie & Hazel Hill of Galax and Joe & Teresa Hill of Winston Salem, NC; brothers, Wayman Dalton of Pulaski and Junior Dalton and Richard Dalton both of Hillsville; sister, Wilma Martin of Hillsville; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and three step-great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. Sam Holder and Rev. Tim Hawks officiating.      Roy Glenn Joyce married Winona Ruth Dalton, daughter of Fred Tipton "Moody" Dalton Sr. and Myrtle Dalton.^1,3 Roy Glenn Joyce was born on October 15, 1938.⁴ He died on July 4, 2002 at Galax, Virginia, at age 63.²

He was preceded in death by his mother, Winona Ruth Dalton Joyce. Survivors include his children, Ronnie E. Dalton, II of Dugspur, Sheena Austin of Florida, and Jody Marshall of Dugspur; brothers & sister-in-law, Carmie and Becky Joyce and Elvin Dalton, all of Hillsville; sister, Tanya Dalton of Hillsville; special friend, Billie Jones of Woodlawn; and several other family and friends.² He was born on April 4, 1957 at Carroll Co., Virginia.^3,4,5 He married Edna Ruth Wardwell on October 2, 1976 at Carroll Co., Virginia.⁴ Ronald Eugene Dalton and Edna Ruth Wardwell were divorced on April 9, 1980 at Carroll Co., Virginia.⁵ Ronald Eugene Dalton married Deborah Lynn Schimminger on May 23, 1981 at Carroll Co., Virginia.⁴ Ronald Eugene Dalton and Deborah Lynn Schimminger were divorced on January 12, 1995 at Carroll Co., Virginia.⁵ Ronald Eugene Dalton died on December 20, 2017 at Dugspur, Carroll Co., Virginia, at age 60.²

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Rebecca Ann Moore Dalton; sister, Edith Carper; and two brothers-inlaw, Jim Sowers and Buddy Davis. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving in the Korean War.
