Funeral service will be conducted 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 14, 2009, at Oakey's South Chapel with the Rev. David Smith officiating. Interment will follow at the Graham Family Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2009, and on Friday, February 13, 2009. Mrs. Cox was born in Virginia on January 6, 1940 to the late Charles Temple and Virgie Gray Dalton Frazier. Survivors include her husband Laine B. Cox of the home; children and spouses Maria and Michael Springle of Hillsville, Scott and Laurie Cox of Spartanburg, SC, Karen and Brian Mathis of Winston Salem, NC, Tina and Tim McCall of Layman, SC, and Russell Cox of Spartanburg, SC; sister Elsie Ogle of Hillsville; brothers Ralph Frazier of Indiana, Cecil Frazier of Roanoke, and LeRoy Frazier of Indiana; first born grandson R. Brandon Moxley of Ithaca, NY; special friends Jamie and Kenny Rowlett; eighteen grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Angela Lineberry, Pastor Kenny Rowlett, and Rev. Jesse Walker officiating.
