W., Roanoke, Virginia.2 She was born on August 14, 1922 at Birmingham, Jefferson Co., Alabama.1,2,3 As of March 26, 1949,her married name was Kirby.1 She married Thomas Clinton Kirby Sr., son of Luther Herbert Kirby and Viola Elizabeth Hancock, on March 26, 1949 at Hopewell, Virginia.1,2 Mary Stillman died on September 25, 2010 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 88.2,4,3 She Mary Stillman Kirby, 88, formerly of Daleville, Va., Friendship Retirement Community, and currently a patient at Friendship Health and Rehab, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2010. Mrs. Kirby was born on August 14, 1922 in Birmingham, Ala., the youngest and last surviving child of Arthur R. and Lizzie T. Stillman. She moved, at a young age with her family, to Paces, Va. and later to Hopewell, Va., where she worked for F.W. Woolworth. She married Thomas C. Kirby, Sr. and in 1954 they moved their young family to Roanoke, where Mrs. Kirby was a homemaker and stay-at-home mom for several years. In 1966, she began working in the office of F.W. Woolworth at the Roanoke-Salem Plaza where she retired in 1984 with 18 years' service. In 1971, the family moved to Daleville, Va. where they made their home until April of 2010. She is predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Thomas C. Kirby, Sr., her parents, her brothers and sister. Her family was her pride, her joy, and her life. Those left to mourn her loss are children, Betty K. Grisso and husband, Don, Marsha K. Faizi, Thomas C. Kirby Jr. and his wife, Lynn, all of Roanoke, Karen K. Emanuelson and husband, Paul, of Charlotte, N.C. She is survived by five grandchildren, Scott Grisso, Twin Falls, Idaho, Shannon Grisso and his wife, Mechelle, Boise, Idaho, Daniel Kirby, Roanoke, Roxanna Faizi, Roanoke and Adam "Buster" Faizi and his wife, Chelsie, currently stationed in Germany with the US Army, who made his home with his grandmother until March 2010. The family wishes to thank all the nurses and staff of Friendship Health and Rehab, on Midwest and One West for their kindness, patience and care to Mrs. Kirby and all the family. Friends may visit with the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, September 26, 2010 at Rader Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Daleville Baptist Church with Pastor Andy Cobb officiating. Interment will follow in the Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Roanoke. on September 26, 2010.2

He is survived by brother, Karl Rosazza and his wife, Barbara; sister, Suzanne Embree and her husband, Joseph; other survivors include three nieces, and three nephews, all of Albuquerque, NM. Private interment in New York. Memorial services are to be held on September 8, 1995 at the United Nations Chapel in New York City. Memorial services to be held in Albuquerque at a later date. on September 7, 1995.4
