Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lillie Tolliver Wood; five daughters, Mrs. Ethel Ruble of Pontiac, Mich., Mrs. Garnette Kiblinger of Pleasant Hills, Mrs. June Payne of Utica, Mich., Mrs. Bertha Winton of Stanaford, and Miss Mary Jane Wood, at home; three sons, Corbitt of Midway, Cleo "Dutch" of Detroit, Mich., and Jerry of Pontiac; one stepson, Henry Davis of Flint, Mich; four brothers, Andy of Pemberton, Wesley of MacArthur, Millard of Lester, and Murdy of Narrows, Va; one half brother, Emmett Gray of Tollytown; two sisters, Mrs. Cindy Coalson of Ghent, and Mrs. Rinda Farley of Ohio; 26 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Another son, Billy, was killed in action during World War II. The body is at the Williams and Craven Funeral Home in Sophia. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. on October 27, 1958.5
