There will be a funeral service Friday, March 2nd at 12 noon at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum #2 with Pastor Terry Hatcher officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. on February 29, 2012.3

Also surviving is his stepdaughter and spouse, Wanda and James Hopkins; four stepgrandchildren; seven stepgreat-grandchildren; and six stepgreat-greatgrandchildren. The family would like to thank Carilion Hospice for their loving care. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2008, in the Halls United Methodist Church with the Rev. Steve Akers and the Rev. Andrew Draughn officiating. Interment will follow in the Halls Church Cemetery.
