Surviving are the widow, Anna; two daughters, Mrs. Lena Lee of Lebanon, and Mrs. Betty Hunt of Benton Harbor, Mich; a sister, Mrs. Golda Shaw of Hymera, and two grandchildren. The body will be returned to the McHugh Funeral Home early Sunday morning where visitation will begin at 9 o'clock that morning Services will be at 2 o'clock Sunda afternoon at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kenneth Brock officiating. Burial will be in the K. of P. Cemetery. on February 9, 1962.²

Farris of Franklin, David W. and Daniel M. Farris, both of Indianapolis, Rick and Rex Farris of Trafalgar and Jim Wright of Indianapolis, who he raised from birth; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was employed for 36 years by Conrail as a carman inspector, retiring in 1990. He was also employed by Transportation Workers Local 2003 as union representative during his employment after retirement. He was a member of Transportation Workers Local 2003. He was U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict. A service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Little and Sons Beech Grove Chapel in Indianapolis. Survivors include his mother, Ruby J. Hartman of Brown County; brother, Rick Farris of Brown County and half brother, Danny Farris of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold F. Farris. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center. Rev. Bill Patrick will officiate.
