Burial will be in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. on March 19, 2014.³

The world lost a unique individual when our dad passed away. He was a father, a daddy (to some in heart, if not by birth), a papaw, a teacher, helper, a jokester and a friend to many. Aug. 14, 2015, at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston. He retired from Kanawha Manufacturing after 40 years of service and served his country proudly in the US Army. Ray enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing fast pitch softball. His parents, Henry Milam and Ida Harding Milam preceded him in death along with his daughter, Deborah Kay Milam; an four brothers and three sisters. Ray is survived by loving wife of 48 years, Inez Carte Milam; sons, Randall (Samantha) Milam; daughters, Tina (PW) Strickland, Billie Rae Huffman; brothers, Robert, Gary, Jeff and Dale Milam; sisters, Marie Carte, Martha Quigley, Mary Slater, Brenda Webb, Nancy McDaniel and Terri Godbey; and his grandchildren that he loved to spend time with Evan Strickland, Emily Huffman, Lilli Woodson, Connor Strickland, Macie Milam.
