Garner, on March 2, 1916 at Madison Co., Indiana.1 John Ezra Simmonds John E. Simmonds, 67, died this morning at his home on Ind. 9 north after an illness of three years. Mr. Simmonds was born in Anderson on March 11, 1889, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Simmonds and had lived in this vicinity all of his life. In his early life he was a farmer and recently he had retired from the Central Indiana Gas Company where he had worked for 18 years. He was a member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church and the Whetstone Brotherhood and Sisterhood. The body was taken to Waltz and Hiday Funeral Home where friends will be received after noon Thursday. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Oscar Ahlbrant will officiate. Burial will be in Grove Lawn Cemetery, Pendleton. He is survived by the widow, Eva S; the stepmother, Mrs. Lena Simmonds, Hillsdale, Mich; two sons, Forrest H. Simmonds of Anderson and Donald G. Simmonds of Sycamore, Ill; one daughter, Mrs. Samuel Snyder of Anderson; four grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Wertz of Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Blanche Schlegel of Anderson, and Mrs. Roy Tuttle of Hillsdale, Mich; one brother, Robert Simmonds of Detroit, Mich., and several nieces and nephews. on August 1, 1956.3 He died on August 1, 1956 at Madison Co., Indiana, at age 67.4,3

A graduate of Anderson High School, Buz was a Boy Scout leader and sang at many Scout campouts and jamborees. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in DeKalb and a former member of the Open Bible Church in DeKalb. Buz also sang with the Revelators for several years. He is survived by his sons, the Rev. Samuel L. (Pam) Simmonds of Thayer, Mo., David G. Simmonds of Maple Park and the Rev. Paul A. (Gayle) Simmonds of Rockton; daughter, Judith A. Simmonds of Maple Park; grandchildren, the Rev. Joel (Starlene), the Rev. Jonathan (Amanda), Zachary and Jacob; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Forrest (Vivian) Simmonds of Anderson; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jo, on Dec. 27, 1997; and a sister, Virginia Gay Snyder. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 28, at Anderson Funeral Home, DeKalb, with his sons, the Rev. Samuel Simmonds and the Rev. Paul A. Simmonds, officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Sycamore. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 27, at Anderson Funeral Home, DeKalb. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Donald G. "Buz" Simmonds Memorial Fund, in care of Anderson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 605, 2011 S. Fourth St., DeKalb, IL 60115. on July 26, 2012.2

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Scothorn; brother, Jack Jarrett; great-grandson, Wyatt Jace Abbott; and a great-great-grandson, Jayden Michael Smith. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 S. Fifth St., Middletown. Burial will follow at Mechanicsburg Cemetery in Middletown. Friends may call from noon until 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. on May 2, 2011.4

Survivors include two daughters, Karen L. and husband Michael Barnes, Lafayette, and Rita R. and husband Michael Moore, Kokomo; one son, Ronald A. and wife Marcia McQuiston, Mesa, Ariz; three sisters, Millie and husband Fred Arnold, Rutledge, Ala., Katherine "Kay" Long, McCordsville, and Margaret Jones, Logansport; two brothers, Herbert "Herb" and wife Barbara McQuiston, Kokomo, Richard "Jim" and wife Sharon McQuiston, Monticello; grandchildren, Denise McQuiston, Nick McQuiston, Heather McQuiston, Carol McQuiston, Jonathan Barnes, Carly Moore and Casey Moore; and two great-grandchildren, Jordan McQuiston and Lacey Roundtree. He was preceded in death by his parents; his twin sister, Patricia McQuiston, and three additional sisters; four brothers; one granddaughter, Sarah Barnes; and one grandson, Michael McQuiston. Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel, 725 S. Main St., with the Rev. Harold Williams officiating. Burial will be in Albright Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the mortuary. on December 24, 2005.1

McQuiston, 83, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Kindred Nursing Home in Kokomo. She was born on August 31, 1933 to the late Lowell L. Grant Sr. and Esther P. (Fording) Grant. On March 8, 1958, she was married to Herbert McQuiston, and he survives. Barbara had worked for Delco Electronics for 30 years, retiring in 1983. Barbara was an active member of In His Image Church in Kokomo, and was also a lifelong member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. She enjoyed watching Notre Dame sports, the Chicago Cubs, and followed Kokomo Wildcats Basketball. She also enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports. In addition to her husband, Barbara is survived by one son, Norman E. (Debra S.)McFarland; her sister, Winifred A. (David W.) Fewell; 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by two sons, Timothy G. McFarland, and Brian C. "Chris" McQuiston; and her brother, Lowell Grant Jr. A public visitation for Barbara will be held on Thursday, July 27th from 4-8 at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 28th at 11 a.m., with another public visitation held one hour before the service. Barbara will be laid to rest at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. on July 28, 2017.1
