     Katherine Anne Shively was buried at Mountain View Memorial Park (also known as Mountain View Burial Park), 5970 Grassy Hill Road, Boones Mill, Franklin Co., Virginia.2,3 Her married name was Webb.1 She married Thomas Russell Webb Sr., son of William Robert Webb and Ella Elizabeth Moran.1,2,3,6 Katherine Anne Shively was born on January 8, 1932 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.3,7,5 She died on January 7, 2009 at Franklin Co., Virginia, at age 76.3,2,7,4 She Anne Shively Webb, 76, of Rocky Mount, Va., died on Wednesday, January 7, 2009, after a long courageous battle of Alzheimer's and a short battle of cancer. She was a member of Gogginsville United Methodist Church and was a dental office assistant. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.O. and Kate Shively; and her husband, T. Russell Webb Sr. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Kaye and Paul Cash, of Prince George, Anne and Charles McGuire, of Vinton, Susan and Frank Lynch, of Boones Mill, and Thomas (Tommy) R. Jr. and Patricia Webb, of Midlothian; grandchildren, Michael (Erin), Matthew and Mary Beth McGuire, David and Anna Lynch, Eric and Katy Cash, Rusty and Amanda Webb; brother, Ed and Joyce Shively; sister, Sarah and Ralph Arthur; three nieces; two nephews; a host of Webb relatives; special friend, Geraldine Sink; and caregivers, Marty, Mary and Sally Martin. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2009, from Flora Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Brad Dulaney officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. on January 8, 2009.2

     Nita Dawn Nolley was buried at Sherwood Burial Park, 1045 Lynchburg Turnpike, Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.3 She was born on December 2, 1928 at Welch, McDowell Co., West Virginia.2,4 As of December 22, 1952,her married name was Webb.2 She married George Robert Webb, son of William Robert Webb and Ella Elizabeth Moran, on December 22, 1952 at Roanoke, Virginia.1,2,5,3 Nita Dawn Nolley died on June 2, 2007 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 78.4,6,3 She Nita Dawn Nolley Webb, 78, of Roanoke, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, June 2, 2007. Nita retired from The Veterans Hospital in Salem, Va. and was an active member of Cave Spring Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, George William and Pearl Gay Nolen Nolley and her husband of more than 54 years, George Robert Webb and her children William Timothy Webb and Dawn Elaine Webb Dooley. Surviving is her son, Mark S. Webb; son-in-Iaw Keith I. Dooley and his special wife Debbie; grandchildren, Kate E. Webb, Kelsey A. Webb, M. Nolan Webb, Kerry Dawn Dooley and Katie Cunningham; sisters and brothers in-law, Betsy Guilliams, Estelle Akers, Eva Hoy, Frances Stover, and Evelyn Jamison and husband Lee; special cousins, Betty Shelor, Pat Feather and husband Frank; many loving nieces and nephews and special friends, Angie Arledge, Clara Cordell, Peggy Shepherd, Sylvia Plasters and Wanda Ware. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel 12 noon Monday, June 4, 2007 with Pastor. Rick Elmore and Pastor Jim Reeves officiating. Interment will be held at Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem. on June 3, 2007.3

     Vivian Shirley Young was buried at Young and Hale Cemetery, Ferrum, Franklin Co., Virginia.4,2 She was born on February 13, 1928 at Franklin Co., Virginia.5,4,2 She married Cecil Wythe Webb, son of William Robert Webb and Ella Elizabeth Moran, on March 11, 1949.1,2 As of March 11, 1949,her married name was Webb.2 Vivian Shirley Young died on December 18, 2006 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 78.4,5,2,6 She Shirley Young Webb, 78, died Monday, December 18, 2006 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was born February 13, 1928 in Franklin County to Virgil C. Young and Irene Walker Young. She was a member of Highland United Methodist Church and was a founding member of the Green Thumb Garden Club in Callaway. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Bruce and Perry Young; sister, Mary Prillaman Reynolds. Shirley was married March 11, 1949 to Cecil W. Webb who survives at the home. Also surviving are sons, Tony (Lois) Webb, Mitchell (Pat) Webb, Bryan Webb, Bill (Karen) Webb; and daughter, Terri (Brandon) Byerly; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother, Jerry (Joanne) Young; and a sister, Joanne (Alvin) Gibson. Funeral services will be conducted from Highland United Methodist Church, 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 20, 2006 with the Rev. Jeane Dunkum officiating. Interment will follow in the Young-Hale Family Cemetery. on December 20, 2006.2

     Mary Wade Aker was buried at Mountain View Memorial Park (also known as Mountain View Burial Park), 5970 Grassy Hill Road, Boones Mill, Franklin Co., Virginia.2 She was born on December 23, 1939 at Franklin Co., Virginia.1,2 As of September 19, 1960,her married name was Akers.1 She married Carl Doss Akers, son of Roy Adolphus Akers and Ruby Estelle Webb, on September 19, 1960 at Rocky Mount, Franklin Co., Virginia.3,1,2 Mary Wade Aker died on December 28, 2021 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 82.2 She Mary Wade Akers, age 82 of Rocky Mount, Va., passed away the evening of Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Mary Wade was a graduate of Franklin County High School in 1958 and received her BS in Education from Radford University. She embarked on her love of touching and enriching the lives of so many of "her kids" as an Elementary School Teacher in the Franklin County School System for 30 years. Mary Wade was a long-time member of Highland United Methodist Church where she participated in the choir before joining Franklin Heights Baptist Church in 2006 where she participated in the Chorus, Go, her Connect Group and the Back-Pack Ministry. She could regularly also be found at Carilion Franklin Memorial where she was an auxiliary member always trying to find a way to help out any way she could. Mary Wade was born December 23, 1939 to the late Robert and Nellie Aker of Gogginsville. She was preceded in death by brothers, Henry, Paul, Carlton, William and Galen Aker. Mary Wade is survived by her best friend and loving husband of 61 years, Carl D. Akers; three sons, Gregory A. Akers and wife, Becky of Rocky Mount, Eric W. Akers and Amber of Rocky Mount and R. Scott Akers of Salem; five grandchildren who were the "apples of her eye", Hunter Akers, Logan Akers, Addison Akers, Mason Akers and Sarah Akers; brothers and sisters, Dorothy Webb, Kate Flora, Bud Aker (Janet), Carole David (Ronald); sisters-in-law, Gladys Aker, Barbara Aker; brother-in-law, Earl Akers (Helen); and many very special nieces, nephews, family and friends. Her funeral will be Sunday, January 2, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Franklin Heights Church. Interment to follow at Mountain View Memorial Park. on December 31, 2021.2
