     John Robert Beahm was buried at Valley View Cemetery, Nokesville, Prince William Co., Virginia.1,3 He John Robert Beahm age 95 passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016 at his home in Nokesville, Virginia. Mr. Beahm was born August 28, 1920 in Nokesville, son of the late George Wiley and Annie Alverta Early Beahm. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Aliene Nolley Beahm. He was a lifelong member of the Nokesville Church of the Brethren, a rural letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, a part time farmer and an avid barbershop singer and longtime member of the Bull Run Troubaudour Barbershop Chorus. Survivors include eight children, Chester Beahm (Carol), Pattie Beahm Flory, Bruce Beahm (Mary), Charlotte Beahm Bear (:Cubby”), Janice Beahm Mayhugh (Doug), Martha Beam, John Beahm (Peggy) and Beth Beahm Vigil (Ron); 26 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. The family received friends from 5:00- 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Pierce Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 9609 Center Street, Manassas. Funeral services were held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Nokesville Church of the Brethren, 13002 Fitzwater Drive, Nokesville.      Doris Kathryn Bowman was buried at Green Hill Cemetery, Churchville, Augusta Co., Virginia.2 She was born on June 21, 1927 at Boones Mill, Franklin Co., Virginia.2 As of September 3, 1949,her married name was Nolley.1 She married Dr. Eugene Davis Nolley, son of William Davis Nolley and Pearl Zena Shaeffer, on September 3, 1949 at Franklin Co., Virginia.1,3,2 Doris Kathryn Bowman died on August 25, 2017 at Virginia at age 90.2 She STUARTS DRAFT - Doris Kathryn (Bowman) Nolley Markle, 90, died Friday (August 25, 2017). She had been a resident of Stuarts Draft Retirement Community for the past ten years. Born June 21, 1927 in Boones Mill, Virginia, she was a daughter of George Lee and Mary (Flora) Bowman. She graduated from Boones Mill High School in 1944 and Bridgewater College in 1952. Prior to becoming a full-time homemaker, Mrs. Nolley taught in Henrico County. After raising six children, she returned to teaching in Augusta County Public Schools until her retirement. She was a member of Staunton Church of the Brethren where she served as Sunday school teacher, member of the church district board, and a member of the church choir. Doris was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, and teacher. She nurtured the growth of her children, grandchildren, and students, as well as the many beautiful gardens that surrounded her homes. She will be lovingly remembered for her acts of kindness, her wonderful laughter, and the melodies she hummed throughout the day. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Dr. Eugene Davis Nolley; three sisters, Flora Thomas, Virgie McDannel, and Geneva Urban; two brothers, Bruce and Willard Bowman; and a stepgranddaughter, Cynthia Dronebarger. Surviving are her second husband, Donald Girard Markle; six children, Ronald Eugene Nolley and wife Emily of Boston, Curtis Bowman Nolley and wife Andrea of Harrisonburg, Dana Suzanne Nolley Cale of Culpeper and Randy Cale of Albany, N.Y., Phillip Lee Nolley and wife Marti Mocahbee of Staunton, Eric Wayne Nolley and wife Susan of Churchville, and Kevin Davis Nolley and wife Laurie of Raphine; a stepson, David Lee Markle of Stuarts Draft; six grandchildren, Jennifer Nolley, Kara Nolley Ackerman and husband Tyler, Ryan Nolley, Charles Nolley and wife Wendy, Eliza Biby and husband Jeremy, and Madeline Nolley; four great-grandchildren, Chyna Nolley, Harper Nolley, and Tyson and Layla Ackerman; and two step-great-granddaughters, Jordan Dronebarger Emanuele and husband Tim, and Hailey Dronebarger. A private burial service will be conducted in Green Hill Cemetery, Churchville. on August 28, 2017.2
