Lowell began his career as a System Analyst at Appalachian Power, he continued his career in computer sciences at Burroughs, Unysis, the Defense Dept, and United Health Group. He was a member of Lions and Jaycees. He was one of the founding members of Clearwater for Youth. Lowell enjoyed bowling, football and the Tampa Bay Rays. Predeceased by parents and wife Anne.      Robert Lee "Bob" Ingwersen was born on August 31, 1931 at Guttenberg, Clayton Co., Iowa.^4,5 He married Jeanette Fay/Faye Epperly, daughter of Claude Wesly "Claudie" Epperly and Ocie Inez Tinsley, on April 8, 1955 at Roanoke, Virginia.^1,2,3,4 Robert Lee "Bob" Ingwersen died on March 20, 2015 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 83.^5,4 He Robert Lee "Bob" Ingwersen, 83, of Roanoke, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, March 20, 2015, at his home with his wife, daughter, and a very special friend by his side. Bob was born in Guttenberg, Iowa, August 31, 1931, to the late Alva and Ivy Ingwersen. Bob served his country in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1954. During that time he was stationed in Washington D.C., Idaho and the Philippines. Bob retired from General Electric in 1988 after 33 years of service. He was a loyal custodian for more than 48 years at Northview United Methodist Church. Bob was a longtime member of First Baptist Church and was an usher for more than 30 years. He also served as secretary of Williamson Road Masonic Lodge for many years. Bob was always a hard worker. Bob loved his garden, his beautiful roses and traveling all of his life. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Claude and Inez Epperly. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 60 years as of April 8, Jeanette Ingwersen; his daughters and son-in-law, Kimberly Lynn Ingwersen of Roanoke, and Jean Marie Ingwersen Marx and Leonard Marx of Daytona Beach, Fla., and his dog Buddy. Also surviving are a sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Duane Palmer; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Sue Ingwersen; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Linda and Tommy Hurt; 8 nephews, Duane Palmer, Jr., Brian Palmer, Rev. She was a homemaker and operated a child care ministry out of her home for 20 years. Linda developed numerous close relationships including Lou Clifton, Joan Stanley, Mary Webb, Jan Dearing and Maxine Meade. Her favorite hobbies which she enjoyed were gardening, cooking, crafts, decorating and reading. She will be most remembered by her family for her authentic spirituality and close walk with Jesus Christ. Linda is survived by her husband of 48 years, Tommy D. Hurt; and her sons, Tommy W.
