Walters Jr. and Verbena Dickerson Walters on August 25, 1945. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clayton L. Bartlett, brother Kelly B. Walters and sister-in-law Virginia Gerald Walters. Shirley is survived by her ex-husband Billy S. Baker; son William (Willie) Baker; special sister Norma Jean Walters; step-son Todd Allen Bartlett; step-daughters Sharon Baker (John); Sheila Coffield (Matt) and nieces Nancy Jo Walters and Melissa Poff Shonkwiler. Shirley graduated from Christiansburg High School class of 1963. She worked four months at Blue Ridge Overall Co. Graduated from Hollywood School of Beauty Culture in Roanoke in 1964. She worked at Corner Beauty Shop and then Diane’s-Merle Norman until 1980. She then worked at Poly Scientific (Moog) until 2008. During retirement she finished her working careers with Montgomery County school system in 2014.6 She was born on August 25, 1945 at Christiansburg, Montgomery Co., Virginia.3,4,5,6 As of October 16, 1965,her married name was McGuire.5 She married Bobby Lewis McGuire on October 16, 1965 at York, York Co., South Carolina.5 Shirley Ann Walters and Bobby Lewis McGuire were divorced on June 17, 1971 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.5 As of February 12, 1972,her married name was Baker.3 Shirley Ann Walters married Billy Snoman Baker on February 12, 1972 at Christiansburg, Montgomery Co., Virginia.3,6 Shirley Ann Walters and Billy Snoman Baker were divorced on August 19, 1985 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.5 As of August 25, 2006,her married name was Bartlett.3 Shirley Ann Walters married Clayton Luther "C.      Evelyn Virginia Wagner Evelyn Wagner Graham, a long-time resident of Smith Mountain Lake, in Goodview, passed this Wednesday, June 3, 2015. Born in 1926 in East Beckley, W.Va., Evelyn had five siblings, Helen, Hazel, Kenneth, Bill, and Everet, Jr. Evelyn was a dedicated stenographer at the VA Hospital in Salem for over 30 years, following homemaking and the raising of her daughters. She taught Sunday School and was an active member at Villa Heights Baptist Church. Evelyn was a voracious reader, devoted herself to the raising of her children and grandchildren, loved traveling, movies, playing cards, cooking and socializing with life-long friends and family. Evelyn had a sweet smile, twinkling eyes, and a big heart. Her easy, kind demeanor endeared her to all. Evelyn is survived by her husband of sixty-nine years and the love of her life, Basil Graham; one sister, Hazel Gregory, of Tallahassee Fla., and two daughters. Evelyn's daughters, Velvet Hammond and husband, David, and Anne Sumpter reside in Roanoke. Evelyn is also survived by four adoring grandchildren, Scott Hammond, Stacey Hammond Beard, Graham Sumpter, all of Roanoke and James Sumpter, of Little Rock, Ark. and three great grandchildren, Lyle, Lauren and Grayson. The family thanks the wonderful staff at Pheasant Ridge Senior Living Community for their kindness and loving care.3 She was born on December 11, 1926 at East Beckley, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.2,3 As of January 20, 1946,her married name was Graham.2 She married Basil Ray Graham, son of Stacy Aaron Graham and Velma E.
