"Bill" and Linda Turman; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and a sister, Jessie Ruth Fitzgerald, of Holiday, Fla. A graveside service will be held in Sunset Cemetery. on December 16, 2008.2

Edith Maxine McClain Edith M. Vest, 90, died at 5:23 a.m., Friday July 21, 2006, at McDonough District Hospital, Macomb. She was born July 23, 1915, in Huntsville, the daughter of Alfred and Jennie (Knight) McClain. She first married Calvin B. Moore on June 16, 1944 in Augusta. He preceded her in death March 26, 1991. She later married Erby Vest on Aug. 31, 1991 in Plymouth. He preceded her in death Feb. 3, 1992. She is survived by one brother, Raymond McClain, Sun Lakes, Ariz; two stepgranddaughters; step great-grandchildren; and step-great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Chalmer, Arthur and Ernest McClain; three sisters, Albina Sartorius, Bernice Hillyer and Lillie Buss and one stepgranddaughter, Opal Mae Lindburg and stepdaughter, Barbara Jean Lindburg. She was a homemaker and a very active member of the Augusta Assembly of God Church. She was a charter member of the Augusta Senior Center and helped to organize the meals program at the center. She also served on the Senior Center Council and received honors for 27 years of service to the center. She was also a former member of the Augusta Lioness Club, Rebecca Lodge and AARP. Funeral services were held Monday, July 24, 2006 in the Augusta Assembly of God Church, Augusta, with the Revs. Patsy and Jerry Spratt officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn cemetery, Augusta. Memorials may be made to the Augusta Assembly of God Church or the Augusta Senior Citizens Center. The Hamilton Funeral Home, Augusta, was in charge of arrangements.3 She was buried at Woodlawn Cemetery, Augusta, Hancock Co., Illinois.3 She was born on July 23, 1915 at Huntsville, Schuyler Co., Illinois.2,3 She married Erby M.
