In his 54 year career, he spent more than 30 years as an automobile dealer at Patterson Motors in Placerville CA, Fairway Chevrolet in San Bruno, CA, and Pat Patterson Cadillac in Oakland, CA. Throughout his career he was involved in community, civic, and professional organizations, including serving as President of the Board of Children's Hospital of Oakland. Since his retirement he has enjoyed golf, travel, hours at the computer and time spent with family and friends. We will miss this loving gentle husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Our lives have been enriched by his presence and the love, courage, spirit and vision he brought to each day. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 3, 2004, 11AM at the Palm Springs Mortuary, 69855 E. Ramon Rd., Cathedral City, CA. Private family entombment will be held at Palm Springs Mausoleum.
