She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Rheba Rush; and two sisters, Treva Miles and Louise Linkous. Survivors include her husband, Fred L. Williams Jr; two sons and daughters-in-law, Fred L. Williams III and Sandra, of Blountville, Tenn., and J. Ben Williams and Cathy, of Christiansburg, Va; two grandsons, Lee Williams, of Blountville, Tenn., and Jamie Williams, of Christiansburg, Va; one granddaughter and husband, Amanda and John Rowlette, of Bristol, Tenn; one great-granddaughter, Megan Rowlette, of Bristol, Tenn; sisters and brothers-inlaw, Ruby Lee Carner, of Christiansburg, Va., Wilma and Bob Chafin, of Greensboro, N.C., Doris Martin, of Riner, Va., Ella Ruth Hutchins, of Christiansburg, Va., and Shirley and Bob Adkins, of Ferrum, Va; brother-in-law, Elma Miles, of Martinsville; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Ailene and Harley Dove, of Christiansburg, Va; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews. Frances retired from the Bell Atlantic Telephone Company after 39 years of service. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. Frances was a member of the Revived Rebekah Lodge #100 in Blacksburg, Va., where she served as Financial Treasurer and as a Past President. She was a member of the Blacksburg Odd Fellows Lodge #20 and served as Treasurer for them. Frances was also a member of the Rebekah Assembly of Virginia where she served as a Past President. Interment to follow in Sunset Cemetery. on October 6, 2009.²

He attended the Bible Baptist Church. Fred was a member of the Odd Fellows #20 lodge in Blacksburg, VA where he served as PGM. He also served as PGM of the Grand Lodge of VA. Fred was also a member of the Revived Rebekah lodge #100 in Blacksburg, VA.      Mary Pauline Dickerson was buried at Piedmont Cemetery, Rt. 11 to Shawsville, turn at nursing home, Rt. 637, about 8 miles on the left, Montgomery Co., Virginia.^2,3 She was born on March 18, 1929 at Shawsville, Montgomery Co., Virginia.^2,1 She married Arthur Eldridge Conner Jr., son of Arthur Eldridge Conner Sr. and Maude Gertrude Atkinson, on December 23, 1950 at Shawsville, Montgomery Co., Virginia.^2,1,4 As of December 23, 1950,her married name was Conner. Mary Pauline Dickerson died on February 8, 2002 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia, at age 72.^3,2 She CONNER, MARY PAULINE, 72, of Salem, died Friday, February 8, 2002 at her home. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Shirley and Ken Trout of Christiansburg, Arnold "Butch" and Barbara Conner of Shawsville, Donna and Danny Clark of Roanoke, Arthur Wayne Conner of Salem; grandchildren and spouses, Renee Farley and Nick Aesy of Salem, Arnold "Arnie" and Jessie Conner of Elliston, Christina Conner and fianc, Mike Dillon and Heather Trout, all of Christiansburg. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Johnathan Farley, Tiffany Conner and Michelle Conner; one brother, Woodie Dickerson of West Virginia. Also surviving are several special nieces and nephews. The family would like to express a special thank you to the Gentle Sheppard Hospice nurse, Linda Hardin, for the special care she gave. Interment will follow in Piedmont Cemetery in Alleghany Springs. on February 10, 2002.³

He was 44. A resident of 370 Tanglewood Drive, Martinsville, Ingram retired in December, 1996 after becoming ill. He worked as a police officer for 12 years and four as an animal control officer. He also did part time legal assistance with the Daniel-Vaughan-Medley and Smitherman law firm. Born Nov. 15, 1952, in Martinsville, Ingram was the son of Mattie Hollandsworth Robertson of Bassett, and the late Guy Ingram. He was preceded in death by a stepfather, Roy Maynard Hanes. Ingram was a charter member of the Fieldale-Collinsville Rescue Squad. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Collinsville and attended Oak Level Baptist Church. Surviving, in addition to his mother, are wife, Lee Anne Miles Ingram of the home; stepfather George L. Robertson, of Bassett, grandfather, Alfred G. Hollandsworth of Fork Mountain, Stepsisters, Mary Frances DeHart of Henry, Peggy Morris and Joann Brown, both of Fork Mountain; and stepbrother, Maynard Haynes of Manassas. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Norris Funeral Service Chapel. The Rev. Lee Keever will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Burial Park. on September 9, 1997.⁴
