     Norma Dean Jones was buried at Hermon United Methodist Church Cemetery, 07 Cutoff & Middle Creek Roads, Greene Co., Tennessee.1 She Norma Dean Holt, 87, Jonesborough, passed away at her daughter’s residence on Monday, January 25, 2016. She was a native of Greene County and daughter of the late Carl J. and Mary B. Wilhoit Jones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond H. Holt, sister, Marie Brown, brothers: Samuel E. Jones, and Bill H. Jones nephews Don Jones and Sammy Dale Jones. orma received her cosmetology license in 1945 and continued to work up until the week of Christmas 2015. She also served as a “Doctor’s Nurse” at the Ruble Clinic in Limestone until it was closed in 1959. She and her husband loved traveling, camping and going to ETSU basket ball games and in later years canning and quilting with the Upper Room Quilters. She was a member of Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church. Those left to cherish Norma’s memory include her daughter, Joan M. Roller, grandson, Carl Mowery and his wife Chris, step-grandsons: William Roller and his wife Rachel, Jamie Roller and his wife Sharon; great-granddaughter, Carly Mowery, step-grandchildren: Aiden, Ethan, Ryan, and Peyton Roller; niece, Fran Cutshall, nephews: Terry Brown and his wife Sandy, Doug Jones and his wife Denise; numerous great nieces and nephews. A Graveside and Committal Service will be held at a later date at Hermon Church Cemetery in Greene County.1 She was born on November 23, 1928 at Greene Co., Tennessee.2,1 As of October 23, 1948,her married name was Holt.1 She married Raymond Hubert Holt, son of Charles Austin "Charley" Holt and Nellie Elizabeth Rowles, on October 23, 1948.1 Norma Dean Jones died on January 25, 2016 at Tennessee at age 87.1
