He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Betty and Philip Carr. Justin is survived by his father, Philip D. (Anna) Carr of Check; mother, Kala (Dan) Drewry of Stewartsville; grandparents, John and Rachel Myers of Blacksburg; grandmother, Janie Carper Akers of New Castle; sisters, Lesley Jennings of Stewartsville, Ashley Carr of Roanoke; uncles, Clark Myers of New Castle, Greg (Angela) Carr of Check, Tracy (Andrea) Carr of Check; aunt, Vicki (Mike) Kuver of Check. Interment will follow in Wilson Cemetery. on August 8, 2017.¹

     Everett Eugene Reese was buried at Reesedale Cemetery, Rt. 622, Ironto, Montgomery Co., Virginia.^2,6 His Social Security Number was 227-44-9036.⁹ He was born on August 15, 1936 at Ironto, Montgomery Co., Virginia.^2,3,9 He married Helen Irene Anderson on February 7, 1959 at Bedford Co., Virginia.¹ Everett Eugene Reese and Helen Irene Anderson were divorced on May 17, 1965 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.⁴ Everett Eugene Reese died on September 7, 1966 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 30.^2,6 He Everett Eugene Reese, 30, died Wednesday in a Roanoke hospital. Surviving are a daughter, Linda Gale Reese, Elliston; his father and stepmother Mr. and Mrs. Russell Reese, Elliston; a sister, Miss Janice Reese, Elliston; a brother, Linwood Reese, Elliston; a half sister, Miss Debra Reese, Elliston; two stepbrothers, Clayton Pierce and Kenneth Pierce, Salem.      Helen Irene Anderson was buried at Virginia Memorial Park, Forest, Bedford Co., Virginia.^5,4 She was born on August 16, 1940 at Goodview, Bedford Co., Virginia.^1,3,5,4 As of February 7, 1959,her married name was Reese.¹ She married Everett Eugene Reese, son of Russell Everett Reese and Mary Lillian Hall, on February 7, 1959 at Bedford Co., Virginia.¹ Helen Irene Anderson and Everett Eugene Reese were divorced on May 17, 1965 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.² Helen Irene Anderson died on December 7, 2015 at Virginia at age 75.^5,4 She Helen Anderson Orange, 75, of Thaxton, died Monday, Dec. 7, 2015. She was born on Aug. 16, 1940, in Goodview, VA, a daughter of the late Raynor Sam Anderson and Rilda Roberts Price. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband; Herbert W. Orange, brothers; Billy Ray Anderson and James Bugs Anderson. Helen is survived by her son; Donnie Orange and wife Lynn, brother; Clayton Anderson and wife Kathi, sisters; Hazel Sanford, Nancy Whitaker, grandson; Ray Orange, step-grandson; Timmy Orange and wife Katie, step-great-grandson; Zachary Orange, sister-in-law; Ramona Anderson, and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service was held at Virginia Memorial Park. on December 16, 2015.⁴

     Archie Lynwood Reese was buried at Sessler Cemetery (also known as Echols Cemetery), Rt. 603, Ironto, Montgomery Co., Virginia.⁴ He Archie Lynwood Reese, February 26, 1939 - December 19, 2021. Archie Lynwood Reese, 82 of Shawsville passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell Reese and Mary Hall Reese; three brothers; and his girlfriend of many years, Rachel Ratliff.
He is survived by his sisters, Janice Johnson and Debra Shaw (Jerry); nieces, Mary Patton (Kiara) and Kaliah Ingram; nephews, Clayton Pierce, Gary Bayne, Robert Johnson, Joseph Bayne and Jonathan Patton; brothers-in-law, Charles Johnson and Harry Bayne (Ava). Interment will follow in Sessler Cemetery.⁴ He was born on February 26, 1939 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.^3,4 He died on December 19, 2021 at Montgomery Co., Virginia, at age 82.⁴

     Linda Gail Reese was buried at Sessler Cemetery (also known as Echols Cemetery), Rt. 603, Ironto, Montgomery Co., Virginia.³ Her married name was Blankenship.⁴ She married John Blankenship.⁴ Linda Gail Reese was born on November 25, 1960 at Bedford Co., Virginia.^2,3,4 She died on May 30, 1980 at Houston, Harris Co., Texas, at age 19.^3,4

     Bobby Lee Smith was buried at Weaver Cemetery, Pilot, Montgomery Co., Virginia.¹ He was born on March 24, 1948 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.^1,2 He died on October 15, 1948 at Christiansburg, Montgomery Co., Virginia.¹

     Brandon Lee Smith Brandon Lee Smith, March 24, 2004 - February 18, 2024. Brandon Lee Smith, 19, of Blacksburg, left us suddenly on February 18, 2024. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Steven Smith; grandparents, Margaret Mae Doss, Charles Lee Doss Sr. Brandon is survived by his mom, Pearl Sue Smith; dad, Steven O. Smith; foster parents, Thomas & Joanne Jones; brother, Joseph Smith; Maw Maw, Lisa Smith; special friends, Emily and John Coe; along with uncle, Jason Cromer, aunt, Melinda Smith.² He was born on March 24, 2004 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.^2,3 He died on February 18, 2024 at Virginia at age 19.²
