     Benjamin Earl Griffieth Jr. Benjamin Earl Griffieth, Jr. - Benny was born March 18, 1954 at Quantico Marine Base VA and died January 19, 2018 at Tri-State Health and Rehabilitation Center in Harrogate TN. A resident of Richmond KY, he grew up in Rock WV, Somerset KY, Versailles KY and Lexington KY. A housepainter for 25 years, he loved fishing, camping, and playing guitar. In the 1970s and 1980s he was lead guitarist for the local rock band Stonehouse who won 2nd place in WKQQ's annual Battle of the Bands. Preceded in death by his parents Ben and Doris and his brother Jeff. Survived by his wife Donna, daughter Jessi, son Wes and brothers Richard (Diana), David (Mercy), Kenny (Vicki), and Phillip (Dolores) and many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.1 He was born on March 18, 1954 at Quantico, Prince William Co., Virginia.1,2 He married Donna J. Medve on May 9, 1986 at Fayette Co., Kentucky.5 Benjamin Earl Griffieth Jr. died on January 19, 2018 at Harrogate, Claiborne Co., Tennessee, at age 63.1

Mr. Clinton was born in Houston. He was a member of Charity United Methodist Church, Pungo Kiwanis Club and Back Bay/Pungo Civic League and had formerly served on the Pungo Strawberry Festival Committee. He was a member of the Virginia Beach Chamber of Commerce and the Central Business District Association. Survivors include his wife, Laurie Burroughs Clinton; a daughter, Jennifer L. Clinton, and a son, Michael D. Clinton, both of Ahoskie; his parents, Marie B. Clinton and Donald L. Clinton of Colerain, N.C; two sisters, Nancy Birch and Sandy Melson, both of Kitty Hawk; and three brothers, Steve Clinton of Davenport, Iowa, Peter Clinton of Colerain and James Clinton of Durham. The funeral will be conducted in Charity United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. on January 4, 1992.3
