Mr. Petersen, a retired telephone switchboard repairman, is survived by his wife, Julia; two sons, Keith Brown of Morrisville, Pa., and Richard Petersen of Martensdale; two brothers, John and Alvin, both of Omaha, Neb; three sisters, Cecilia Petersen of Omaha, Neb., Mrs. Lydia Hansen of Eugene.
