     Robert Wayne "Bob" Grose was born on September 25, 1940 at West Virginia.^1,7 He married Linda Faye White in February, 1961 at Hillsborough Co., Florida.³ Robert Wayne "Bob" Grose married Annabelle "Annie" Unknown circa 1984.^6,2 Robert Wayne "Bob" Grose died on December 2, 2019 at Marmet, Kanawha Co., West Virginia, at age 79.² He Robert (Bob) W. Grose, 79, of Marmet, West Virginia (formerly of Nitro) died December 2, 2019, in a nursing home facility in Marmet after two years of suffering from Alzheimers. Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Theron Jo Sullenger, his father Clarence Grose, brother's Clarence (Sonny) Jr, Allan, Kim, & Eddie Grose and sisters Sandra Gamel & Sonya Woodcock. Surviving Bob is his wife Annie of 35 years, his sisters Judy Sexton, Karen Turner, Sara Toney,and Graig Grose; daughters, Deanna L. Medlen, Denise Hamilton, sons David Grose and Donald Grose. Also surviving Bob are his stepsons Jay Snodgrass (Melinda) and Chad Snodgrass, both of Marmet, four granddaughters, Haley, Mallory, Kristine and Amanda and one grandson, Donald Grose, Jr. Bob was the ultimate "over the road trucker" with many years primarily handling tankers. Over his career he was employed by FMC, Smith Transfer and Dana. Bob also at one time was an independent owner / operator. His achievement of driving over two million miles without an accident illustrates his ability and the dedication Bob had to his career. Bob was a patriot even in his early years. Evidence of same is his enlisting in the Navy at sixteen years of age. When the military discovered his actual age they discharged him. He later joined the WV Army National Guard Special Forces but was sidelined with a blown knee at jump school, thus ending his military aspirations. Bob remained a lover of God and country for the remainder of his life. Prior to his illness, Bob enjoyed bowling several times a week with his wife. He also enjoyed a friendly round of golf, without his wife. Bob counted many as friends and he was considered the same by many. Bob's love of life was quite evident as was his love of God as Bob was a member of the Rock Branch Church. It was Bob's wish that his body be donated to science in hopes that his passing may aid the life of someone else. on December 10, 2019.²

     Tharon Jo Mason was born on February 12, 1923 at Hurricane, Putnam Co., West Virginia.¹ As of September, 1938,her married name was Grose.² She married Clarence Blaine Grose, son of Jesse James Grose and Dessie Duell Samples, in September, 1938 at Ohio.² Tharon Jo Mason and Clarence Blaine Grose were divorced before February, 1946.³ Tharon Jo Mason died on May 28, 2009 at Barnwell, Barnwell Co., South Carolina, at age 86.¹ She BARNWELL - Mrs. Tharon Jo Mason Sullenger, 86, widow of Charles Sullenger Sr. passed away oh May 28, 2009, at her home. Mrs. Sullenger was born in Hurricane, WV, on February 12, 1923. She was the daughter of the late Arnold S. and Teckla Katherine Paxton Mason. She was a WWII Army Air Corps veteran. She was a retired secretary with the Georgia State Crime Lab in Savannah, GA. She was a member of the Barnwell Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Abbey Cemetery, Savannah, GA. Survivors include a daughter, Karen (Rev. David) Turner of Barnwell, SC; a son, Robert (Annabelle) Grose of Nitro, WV; brother, Gordon Mason of Saratoga, CA; sister, Eleanor (Henry) Gathye of Clearwater, FL; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Charles Sullenger Jr. and three brothers. on May 29, 2009.¹

     Jerri Lynn Owens was born on December 18, 1970 at Georgia.² As of June 8, 1991,her married name was Grose.¹ She married Jesse Alan Grose, son of Clarence Blaine Grose and Betty Jane Nutter, on June 8, 1991 at Osceola Co., Florida.¹ Jerri Lynn Owens died on July 14, 2016 at age 45.²

     Debra Ann Linkous Debra Ann Sumner, age 53, of Dublin died, Saturday, December 18, 2021, at her home. She was born in Virginia on January 20, 1968, to the late Eston and Orpha Ratcliff Linkous. She is also preceded in death by a brother, Jackie Linkous. Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Archie Sumner, sister-in-law, Virginia Linkous. Burial in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg.² She was buried at Sunset Cemetery, North Franklin Street, Christiansburg, Montgomery Co., Virginia.² She was born on January 20, 1968 at Radford, Virginia.^1,2,3 As of February 26, 1994,her married name was Sumner.¹ She married Archie Hassell Sumner Jr., son of Archie Hassel Sumner Sr. and Phyllis Jeanette Miles, on February 26, 1994 at Pulaski Co., Virginia.^1,2 Debra Ann Linkous died on December 18, 2021 at Dublin, Pulaski Co., Virginia, at age 53.²
