He worked for the Defense Mapping Agency in Washington D.C., for 387 years as a cartographer and map maker. Earle had many interests and in all he excelled. He spent many summer days sailing his sloop on the Chesapeake Bay. He grew and showed mums and in this last year started an orchid collection. In his youth he competed internationally in rowing. on December 12, 2009.2

She is survived by a son and two daughters, William Gravely and wife Pat of Culpeper, Va., Donna Hartley and husband Doug of Tiburon, Calif., and Diane Gravely of Virginia Beach. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Todd Gravely and his wife Melissa, Lisa and her husband Byron, all of Richmond, Va; and one sister of Virginia Beach. Her joy in later years became her five great-grandchildren, Will, Ben, Matthew, Ruby and Sofia. She was also preceded in death by one brother and four sisters. on January 15, 2009.3

     Diane Elaine Gravely was buried at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk, Virginia.5,4 She was born on February 6, 1946 at Norfolk, Virginia.3,4 She died on November 7, 2014 at Virginia at age 68.5,4 She Virginia Beach - Diane Elaine Gravely, 68, was welcomed by The Lord into Heaven on November 7th. She had an aggressive form of pancreatic cancer. Diane was the beloved daughter of Ruby and Wilbur Gravely, she was born in Norfolk, Virginia on February 6, 1946. She is survived by her brother Bill and his wife, Pat Gravely of Culpeper, Virginia and her twin sister Donna and her husband, Doug Hartley of Tiburon, California . She was the aunt to Todd Gravely and his wife, Missy and their three sons, Will, Ben and Mathew and Lisa Conner and her husband, Byron and their two daughters, Ruby and Sofie all from Richmond, VA. She graduated from Maury High School and Old Dominion College with a BS degree in Education. Diane had a heart that was set upon knowing and serving God. She has been a vessel of God's love throughout her life. Her passion for teaching not only nourished the souls of her students but inspired them and she set an incredible standard for those to follow when-she took early retirement and dedicated herself as caregiver for both her parents. She loved people, life, and sharing her faith, she had a generosity of spirit that continued to overwhelm everyone she met. As an avid walker and jogger often 6 miles a day. She also built relationships with the dogs of her neighbors as she dutifully carried daily treats. Diane had an infectious smile and personality that served her well as the Welcome Host each Sunday at her beloved Trinity Church. All who have met her know that Jesus lived inside her heart. Burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Norfolk, Virginia. on November 9, 2014.4
