He owned a jewelry/gift shop for many years. Survivors include his wife, June Carpenter of Callahan; a daughter, Deborah (Jeffrey) White of Callahan; and three grandchildren, Robyn (Jason) Kelly, Terry Ann (Steve) Harrison and Ryne Carpenter. Hamilton, 90, of Maple Shade NJ passed away on September 7, 2018 at Lutheran Crossings in Moorestown, NJ. Martha P. Hamilton is survived by her lifelong partner Bernie Kolacz. Martha was a loving mother to her daughter Joyce Schwarz (Robert). She was a caring grandmother to her 2 grandchildren Michael Schwarz of New York City and Karen Wojcik (Scott) and a great-grandmother to Hannah Grace, Jacob Pierce, and Abigayle Elizabeth of Ellington, Connecticut. Mr. Carpenter, a Jacksonville, Fla., native, was a former resident of Quincy, Ill., and had lived in the Jackson area since 1983. He was a Vietnam veteran, who had served 14 years in the U.S. Air Force. "I have lost a real dear friend," said Jai Bhagat, senior vice president of Mobile Communications Corp. "He was my right-hand person. I don't know what I'm going to do without him. I used to joke with him that it would take three people to replace him." Bhagat said his friend and colleague worked too hard. "Quite often people had to tell him, I had to tell him, to slow down," he said. "Terry was a wonderful person and a real good friend. He was so devoted to whatever he did, whatever was assigned to him. He left no stone unturned." Survivors include: wife, Rene; son, Ryne David Carpenter of Brandon; daughter, Terry Anne Carpenter of Brandon; and parents, Ken and June Carpenter of Callahan, Fla. on May 22, 1988.3

Mr. Lockhart will be remembered as a devoted husband, father and friend.
