Martin of Angola, IN; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joan Moistner of Muncie, IN, and Marilyn UpChurch of Yorktown, IN; and a brother, Robert E. Terrell of Farmland, IN. Survivors include her daughter, Angela (husband Ryan) Pickering; companion Hap Montgomery, brother Danny Martin, sister Karen (husband Jeff) Songer; grandchildren Maci and Matthew Pickering, also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held 12:00 p.m., Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 W. Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304. Entombment will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park. on November 5, 2017.3

Lou was a member of the Lindside United Methodist Church where she had transferred her longtime membership from the Bruce McDonald Memorial United Methodist Church at Man, WV. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #90 at Logan, WV and the United Methodist Women. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Carroll and Bobby Lowe Croye. Survivors include her loving husband of 56 years, Dr. Thomas Porter Long, MD, two sons, Michael Lewis Sullivan and wife Charlotte of Oceana, WV and Thomas Porter Long II of Lindside, WV, one daughter, Melissa Croye Long of Hurricane, WV, two step brothers, Howard Pyles, Jr. and wife Nancy of Pearisburg, VA and Danny Cale Pyles of Pearisburg, VA, six sisters, Boots Chang of Westminster, MD, Betty Jean Thomas of Pembroke, VA, JoAnn Lindsey of Dublin, VA, Nannie Katherine Carr, Mary Jane Guynn of Narrows, VA and Phyllis Jennings of Dublin, VA, four grandchildren, Angela Winter, Michael Winter, Brittany Daniels and Caleb Long, four great grandchildren, Roxy, Mara and McKell Winter and Callie Daniels and a very special cousin, Anna Chambers and husband Barry of Narrows, VA. Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM, Friday, December 27, 2013 at the Lindside United Methodist Church, Lindside, WV with Pastor Brent Brown and Pastor Tommy Mounts officiating.
