Born on September 16, 1959 in Beckley, he was the son of the late Charles Marshall and Marie Conner Marshall. Mr. Marshall was a long-time employee for Childers Enterprises, last working as an installation supervisor. He was employed with Childers for over 25 years. He was a lifelong Cool Ridge resident. Those left to cherish his memory include his brother, Gary Marshall and his wife, Rose, of Cool Ridge, WV. Nephew, T.J. Marshall, niece, Holly Carr, a nephew, Gary Wyatt Marshall, a great niece and nephew, Danielle and Ethan Carr, also survive. Alan also considered Gregg Childers and staff at Childers Enterprises his extended family, whom he dearly loved. on April 15, 2016.²
