     Larry D. Blauser Pastor Larry D. Blauser, 77, of 159 Johnstone Rd. Seneca, PA. died at 4:23 P.M. Saturday March 29, 2014 at UPMC-NW in Seneca after being stricken at his home. Born Nov. 9, 1936 in Oil City, PA., he was the son of the late Harold & Anna Mae Bickel Blauser. Larry was a 1954 graduate of Cranberry High School. He had served as a SPEC 4 in the Army Reserves. Larry was married on Sept. 7, 1969 to the former Carolyn A. Shaughnessy and she survives. Larry had worked as a mechanic after High School, for Asplundh Tree Service and for 11 years at Chicago Pneumatic Tool in Franklin. In 1972 he had a personal relationship with his Lord Jesus Christ. He had attended the First Baptist Church in Oil City and taught Sunday School and served as a deacon. In 1975 he served as a Minister at the Seneca Evangelical Congregation as well as the Evangelical Congregation New Zion in Emlenton, PA and preached at various churches as the pulpit supply. He had preached at the Fertigs Gospel Tabernacle, the President Chapel and the Ecumenical Congregation Churches in Bradford, Uniontown Heights and Grove City. Larry’s favorite verse was Isiah 40:31. In the summer of 1979 he led the Team Missions to the Dominican Republic. He also served in Child Evangelism Fellowship Release Time and served many years at the Bucktails Summer camp. Pastor Larry loved to hunt and fish and always had a nice big garden. He loved the outdoors, enjoyed reading his bible and playing “500.” He is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Harold “Bub” Blauser & his wife Dee of Oil City, Bernie & Helen Blauser of Seneca, Chris Blauser of Seneca, Rick & Sally Blauser of Conroe, TX, Wendall Blauser of Brunswick, OH, and by many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his in-laws, Pat & Anne Shaughnessy of Brunswick, OH, Jim & Patty Shaughnessy of Paoli, PA., Mary Nick & her husband Ron of Dempseytown, as well as many Shaughnessy nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by an infant Daughter, Jennifer Lynn, sister Sally Reaser and a sister-in-law Midge Blauser.3 He was born on November 9, 1936 at Oil City, Venango Co., Pennsylvania.3 He married Carol A. Shaughnessy on September 7, 1969.3 Larry D. Blauser died on March 29, 2014 at Seneca, Venango Co., Pennsylvania, at age 77.3

     Harold L. Blauser Harold L. “Bub” Blauser, 74, of 405 ½ E. Second St. Oil City, PA. died at 2:06 A.M. Thursday May 15, 2014 at St. Vincent Health Center in Erie after an extended illness. Born March 8, 1940 in Saginaw, MI, he was the son of the late Harold S. Blauser & Annamae Bickel Blauser. He attended Cranberry High School. On May 1, 2007 he was married to Diana L. Mallory in Franklin and she survives. Mr. Blauser was a member of the Eagles Club and a former member of V.F.W. Post 464. He enjoyed hunting and his many dogs. Bub was formerly the assistant manager of the A & P. Market and the manager of the Lucky 11 car wash, more recently he had been employed as the Grocery manager at the Oil City Giant Eagle. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Stephen L. Blauser of Oil City, Melanie Letta & her husband Nick of Oil City, Pamela J. Voigt & her husband Frank of Oil City; a step son Daniel M. Franklin of Oil City; 10 Grandchildren, Nicholas & Leigh Ann Letta, Daniel & Stephanie Kulling, Andrew O’Neil, Marcella, Joshua and Deanna Voigt, Sabrina Buzard and Linda Moffitt; 6 Great Grandchildren; his brothers and sisters Wendell L. Blauser of Brunswick, OH, Bernard L. Blauser & his wife Helen “Butch” of Seneca, Chris Miller of Oil City, Richard & Sally Blauser of Conroe, TX; a sister-in-law Carolyn Blauser of Seneca. He was preceded in death by a daughter Cheryl L. Blauser, a grandson Stephen O’Neil, a sister Sally A. Reasor, a brother Larry D. Blauser and a sister-in-law Midge Blauser. Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family.2 He was born on March 8, 1940 at Saginaw, Saginaw Co., Michigan.2 He married Diana L. "Dee" Mallory on May 1, 2007.2 Harold L. Blauser died on May 15, 2014 at Erie, Erie Co., Pennsylvania, at age 74.2

     Bernard L. "Bernie" Blauser Sr. Bernard L. “Bernie” Blauser, Sr., 71, of Seneca, died unexpectedly on Tuesday morning, November 25, 2014 at Sugarcreek Station in Franklin. He was born in Oil City on December 15, 1942 to the late Harold S. and Anna Mae (Bickel) Blauser. He attended Cranberry High School. Bernie was a former member of the Oil City Moose Lodge and the Oil City V.F.W. Mr. Blauser was employed for thirty-five years with J.M. Manufacturing in Franklin as a shipping clerk and a high lift operator. Bernie was an avid NASCAR enthusiast and Dale Earnhardt fan. He also enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting, playing poker, Steelers football, and trips to Benezette to view the elk. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren, and friends. Mr. Blauser was married in the Oil City Nazarene Church on September 14, 1963 to the former Helen “Butch” Patterson, and she survives. Also surviving are two children, DeAnna Blauser of Oil City and Bernard L. Blauser, Jr. and his significant other, Sharon Stroup of Seneca; four grandchildren, Lynn Russell and her boyfriend Josh Hines of Volant, Lee Russell and wife Rachael of Franklin, Nicholas Shaffer, and Brianna Shaffer, both of Oil City; two brothers, Wendell Blauser of Brunswick, Ohio and Richard Blauser and wife Sally of Conroe, Texas; a sister, Ellen Christine Miller of Oil City; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Deborah Biltz and husband George, Daniel Tommasi and wife Mary, Joseph Tommasi, Carolyn Blauser, and Theresa Trusel and her husband Kelly; and special friends Mary Ann and Charles Shirey, and Margaret and Merle Ritchey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Hazel and Louis Tommasi; a sister and her husband, Sallie and Wayne Reasor; two brothers, Larry and Harold Blauser; and two sisters-in-law, Sandra Chrispen and Faye “Midge” Blauser. There will be no visitation. A memorial service to celebrate Bernie’s life is being planned by his family and details will be announced at a later date.3 He was born on December 15, 1942 at Oil City, Venango Co., Pennsylvania.3 He married Helen Patterson on September 14, 1963.3 Bernard L. "Bernie" Blauser Sr. died on November 25, 2014 at Franklin, Venango Co., Pennsylvania, at age 71.3

Blauser, son of Harold Silzle Blauser and Anna Mae Bickel, circa 1958.1 Faye Emma "Midge" Wade died on November 22, 2011 at Brunswick, Medina Co., Ohio, at age 70.1,2 She Faye Emma "Midge" Blauser, 70, of Brunswick, passed away on November 22, 2011 surrounded by her family. She was born on March 11, 1941 to Raymond and Marie Wade in Oil City, Pennsylvania. She is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years Wendell; loving children Gregory (Rhonda) Blauser of Strongsville, Yvonne Blauser of Valley City, Rachele Blauser of Brunswick Hills and Kristina (Kurt) Henry of Zeeland, Michigan; adoring grandchildren Dustine Hafner, Heather Ryel, Kristina Blauser, Christina Kowulski, Brandy McGuire, Luke Henry, Micah Henry and Jace Henry; seven treasured great grand-sons; and cherished siblings Clair Wade, Joy Perkins, Hope Thomas and Judy Stinnett. She is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Raymond, Jr., Dewayne, and Tim. Faye taught Sunday school for 45 years at Brunswick Reformed Church, she participated in the Kids Hope Mentoring Program, and also enjoyed crafting and was a master seamstress. A private family burial will take place at Hope Memorial Park. on November 24, 2011.1
