Lee had been in the water for about a week, Sheriff's officials said. Lee was reported missing May 21 from a long-haul truck driving job in Utah, Cameron said. His truck was found near Glenns Ferry, about 30 miles upstream on the Snake River from where his body was found. Cameron said it appears Lee was driving by himself. on May 30, 2007.³

Dave was married to Mary Perkins from Aug. 16, 1958, until her death on April 25, 1990. On March 13, 1993, he married Karren Grueter in Amarillo. He was a member of Washington Avenue Christian Church, Kiwanis, ASCA and Wally Bynum Airstream Club, to name a few. He loved traveling in his airstream and had visited every state. He was also an avid western collector. He was also preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Mary Clugy, and his brother, Steve. Survivors include his wife, Karren; his children, Deborah Clugy-Soto and husband Carlos of El Paso, Scott Clugy and wife Amber of Sayre, Okla., Glen Clugy and wife Barbie of Canyon, Brian Salter and wife Tammy of Espinola, N.M., and Shannon Jackson and husband Michael of Spearman; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. on March 29, 2015.³
