Mr. Pomphrey was a dedicated family man. He loved his grandchildren dearly. He also loved his associates with whom he worked at Walmart, and the feeling was mutual. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Hinkle Pomphrey; a son, Don Lee; a daughter, Launa Pearl; a granddaughter, Tammy Bostic Mcie; and brothers, Earl, Buster and Charles.
