     Steven Dale Willis was buried at Greenwood Cemetery, Ruston, Lincoln Parish, Louisiana.² He Funeral services for Mr. Steven Dale Willis, age 53 of Simsboro, will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, July 7, 2013 at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston. Officiating the services will be Rev. Mickey Manning. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Ruston under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston. Mr. Willis was born January 22, 1960 in Ruston. He died in Shreveport July 4, 2013. He was a tow truck driver by trade. He also enjoyed being a race car driver. He served in the Army National Guard. Mr. Willis was a member of Barnett Springs Baptist Church. Mr. Willis is survived by his children: Holly and husband Shelton Smith, Coty Willis, Kaci and husband William Rsasbury and Dakota Johnston; nine grandchildren; one sister: Lillian and husband Al Williamson; one brother: David Lee Willis and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: Edward Lamar Willis, Sr. and Edith Yocum Willis; his step-father: James Robert Cash and two brothers: Edward Lamar Willis, Jr. and Donald Eugene Willis. Pallbearers will be: William Rasbury, Shelton Smith, David Smith, David Willis, Kendon Pesnell, Jimmy Dale Clements, Al Williamson and Coty Willis. Honorary Pallbearers will be David Colvin, Kevin Pesnell, Everett Pesnell, Bert Williamson, Shawn Gay, Brandon McElroy, Misti Smith, Dakota Johnston and Jerry Davis.² He was born on January 22, 1960 at Ruston, Lincoln Parish, Louisiana.² He died on July 4, 2013 at Shreveport, Caddo Parish, Louisiana, at age 53.²

Dixie was born on July 23, 1921 to Gladys Bessie Robinson and Walter Luis Doty, in Cardin, Oklahoma. Dixie met and married her husband, Neal Wilson, in Missouri in 1939. They had twin boys, Cary and Larry, in 1941 and later moved to Kelso, Washington where they had many friends and raised their boys. Dixie and Neal moved to Bellaire, Texas in 1956 where they settled and lived out the rest of their lives together. Dixie will be remembered by her friends and family for her friendly and fun-loving personality and loving nature. Dixie had a special love for children. Over the years, she enriched the lives of the countless children who all called her "Nana", from her grandchildren to children she cared for in her home day care. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed. Dixie was preceded in death by her brothers Luis and Bob Doty, sisters Eileen Asher and Wanda Dick, husband of 67 years, Neal E. Wilson, sons Larry Neal Wilson and Cary Dale Wilson and grandsons Brian Neal Wilson and Timothy Neal Wilson. She is survived by her brother Russell Doty and sister in law Bobbie Doty; daughter Carie Crabb and son-in-law Keith Crabb; daughter-in-law Kay Wilson; grand children Katherine and Alan Crabb; Robin Bachus and Jennifer Green; and 11 great-grand children. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 9th, at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home, 6700 Ferris Street, Bellaire, TX 77401. on December 7, 2012.³

     Gary Eugene Asher Gary Eugene Asher, born March 17, 1940 passed away July 17, 2010. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eileen Doty Asher and Asa Ray Asher. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 50 years, Barbara Asher; children, Tracey and Brian Sweetland, Gary Wayne Asher, Kathryn and Matthew Nippress; grandchildren, Shannon, Robert and Rachel Sweetland and Nathaniel Rabello; sisters, Dixie and Dick Sharp, Connie Watkins, Terry and Sandra Asher, and Sharon Parrish, sister-in-law, Shirley Kadlecek, mother-in-law, Frankie Ross, nieces, nephews and many friends. Gary was a member of Old Moulton Baptist Church in Old Moulton, TX. He was a businessman owning his own barber shop (Reynolds’s Barber Shop) for 45 years on Amherst in University Village. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm till 8:00 pm Monday, July 19th at Brookside Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:30 pm Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Brookside Chapel of Chimes with interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park.¹ He was buried at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Fwy, Houston, Harris Co., Texas.^1,4 He was born on March 17, 1940 at Cherokee Co., Kansas.^1,4,3 He married Barbara A.      Sharon Eileen Asher Sharon Parrish, age 70 of Webb City, Missouri passed away Saturday January 14, 2017 at her home with family by her side. She was born October 11, 1946 in Joplin, Missouri to Asa and Eileen (Doty) Asher. Sharon was a lifetime area resident. Her most recent area of employment was with Ageis Communication. She attended Company Junction Church in Granby, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Gary Eugene Asher. Sharon is survived by two sons, Anthony “Tony” Asher Rose, Webb City, Missouri, Timothy “Tim” Allen Parrish and wife Traci, Tulsa, Oklahoma; three grandchildren; one brother, Terry Asher, Omaha, Nebraska; and two sisters, Dixie Sharp, Joplin, Missouri and Connie Watkins, Joplin, Missouri. Memorial services are scheduled for 3:00 pm Friday January 20, 2017 at the Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home with Pastor Ira Hawkins officiating.
