Also surviving is her loving sister, Frances Stover, of Roanoke. As a minister's wife, Mrs. Jamison always graciously performed her duties behind the scenes, serving the church people as her own family. During the last years of her life she suffered several small strokes from which she always tried valiantly to recover. She fought the good fight and will be greatly missed. She was constantly cooking, sewing and visiting others.
