Her Social Security Number was 302-30-4141.8 Her married name was Barker.6 Wilma Jean Campbell married Joseph Friedly Barker at Preble Co., Ohio.3,6 Wilma Jean Campbell was born on October 6, 1935 at Dayton, Montgomery Co., Ohio.8,6 As of May 3, 1989,her married name was Vasquez.4 She married Luis Mariano Fonseca Vasquez on May 3, 1989 at Colorado Springs, El Paso Co., Colorado.4 Wilma Jean Campbell died on October 11, 2012 at Denver, Denver Co., Colorado, at age 77.8,6 She DENVER - Jean Campbell, 77, mother Salonen of Jennifer Jane Broomfield, away due to the complications of Alzheimer's disease on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012. Jean was born in Dayton, on Oct. 6, 1935, with her identical sister Jane Campbell. Growing up Ohio, Jean and Jane were inseparable and they often wore identical outfits that made it difficult to tell them apart. They called each other "Twinnie" and had a special bond. Jean was very musically inclined and played the piano, organ and clarinet. She also was a beautiful singer and always enjoyed singing in church choirs. Jean was a lifelong member of the United Church of Christ. She graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a degree in teaching and was an elementary school teacher until her children were born. Her first marriage to Joseph F. Barker blessed them with three children, Robert Campbell Barker, who died at birth, Jo May Barker, (Salonen) and Jennifer Barker. In 1973, the family moved from Ohio to Albuquerque, N.M. Jean fell in love with New Mexico - especially the sunshine - and one of her greatest pleasures was swimming in her backyard pool and getting a good tan. Along with being an excellent swimmer and enjoying her pool, Jean loved music, travel, tennis, water and snow skiing, and, as she grew older, walks with her dog. Jean loved animals but particularly dogs and her favorites were her poodles Joey and Cricket. Jean was always a sharp dresser who loved clothes and jewelry. No matter what was going on, Mom was always there for her daughters, she never missed a beat and she was very proud of their accomplishments. When Jo May and Jenni grew older, she went back to work at Goldwater's Department Store for several years. She also worked at a veterinarian clinic, home health care agencies, tutored schoolchildren was a foster grandparent and worked as a child care provider. Jean moved to the Denver area in the late 1990s to be closer to Jenni and her grandchildren in Denver. "Nammy" was full of pride when it came to all of her grandchildren. She loved Max's photography, Gracie's dancing and taking care of Landon after school. When she visited Missoula, she loved to hear Kennedy play the piano and she loved to read books to Wesley. At the end of her life, it was very clear that the most important thing to Mom/Nammy was her family. Jean was proud to be a Campbell and of her Scottish heritage. One of her fondest memories was her trip to Scotland before she became ill. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jo May and Brian Salonen; her daughter, Jenni Barker; her identical twin, Jane Rust; grandchildren, Max Lee, Betty Grace Lee, Landon Lee, Kennedy Salonen and Wesley Salonen; along with her nieces, Amy Strayhorn, Pam Misleh and Lori Hennessy. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Robert; and her parents, Howard and Amber. She died peacefully at the Brookshire Nursing Home in Denver, with Jo May and Jenni at her side. on October 18, 2012.6
