Survivors include his wife, Natalie Gilligan of Great Falls; stepdaughter Jennifer Clark of Great Falls; stepsons Todd Clark and Jeffrey Clark of Great Falls, and Tyler (Ashlie) Clark of Seattle; his mother, Nora Gilligan of Great Falls; sisters Kathleen Reed of Great Falls, and Mary Jo Cahill of Olympia, Wash; brothers John (Mary Kay) Gilligan of Red Lodge, Michael (Tina) Gilligan of Folsum, Calif; and Tim Gilligan of Great Falls; one step-grandson, Hunter Clark of Great Falls; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, John Gilligan; his grandfather, Louis Scharrer; brothers-in-law Dick Reed and Bill Cahill; and a sister-in-law, Jan Gilligan. on July 12, 2009.³
