He was born on Saturday, April 17, 1971 in Muskogee to LaDoit and Meredith Hensley Tackett. Kyle grew up in Checotah where he received his education, played football for the Checotah Wildcats and graduated in 1989. After graduation, he attended the Pinkerton Security and Detective Agency, the largest security services provider in the world, where Kyle was trained in security. After his training he began working for the Creek Nation Casino as a security guard. Kyle enjoyed fishing, hunting and was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church of Checotah. He will be remembered by many as a kind, sweet, tender-hearted man that loved his family deeply. Kyle was preceded in death by his grandparents and his dad, LaDoit on Sunday February 4, 2007. He is lovingly survived by his mother, Meredith of Checotah, siblings, Kevin Tackett and his wife Kim of Okarche, OK, Karla Roberts and her husband Jon of Haskell, OK & Kristian Tackett of Blue Eye MO; nieces & nephews, Autumn Roberts and her husband Dustin and their children Harlin and Margo, Karris Tackett, Acacia Tackett, Kyle Roberts and his children, Madison and Izzabell, Jennifer Roberts, Jessie Tackett, Jamie Tackett & Cole Tackett; aunts, Gretchen Payne and her husband Dr. Maurice Payne, Barbara Gordon and her husband Jim, Betty Lewis and her husband Bob; also surviving are other extended family and a host of friends. In honoring the life of Kyle, in lieu of flowers, memorials are to be made in his memory to the First Baptist Church Family Life Center Building Fund 210 SW 2nd Street Checotah, Ok. 74426. Funeral Services for Kyle will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at First Baptist Church with Reverend Steve Dennis and Reverend Wayne Brown officiating. Committal Prayers and Interment of Kyle's ashes will be held privately for the family in Greenlawn Cemetery under the person direction of John Garrett. on December 12, 2011.²
