Ida had a love of nature and the spirit of a warrior. She transcended generations with a friendly ear for anyone with a burden. Ida had many dear friends and touched all who knew her. Always missed, never forgotten. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Vinton Chapel at 11 a.m. Friday, July 2, 2004 with the Rev. Robert W. Lanier officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Patricia is survived by her husband, Lemuel Crawford of Benson; her three sons, Patrick (Theresa) Lewis of Salem, Va, James Lewis of Minneapolis, Minn., and David (Judi) Lewis of Tucson; her daughter, Edith (Pete) Rameriz of Tucson, one brother, John (Peggy) Hurley of Punta Gorda, Florida: three sisters, Betty (Reggie) Cyr of Avery, Calif., Theresa (Jim) Hardy of Potomac, Md.., and Bridgett (Ray) Sheppard of Port Charlotte, Fla. She also had eight grandchildren. on October 4, 2000.²

He was manager at Circle K; also assistant manager at Lucky's in Tucson for 18 years. He was formerly a member of Eagles and Lions clubs in Benson. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes in Benson. Interment will be at High Street Cemetery, Benson, Ariz. Preceded in death by first wife, Joyce in 1981; second wife, Patricia Ann in 2000. Survivors include wife, Patricia Frances Crawford of Benson; one daughter, Sandra (Charlie) Bradley-Williams of Tucson; one stepdaughter, Edith (Pete) Ramirez of Tucson; three stepsons, James Lewis of Minnesota, David (Judy) Lewis of Tucson and Patrick (Theresa) Lewis of Salem, Va; one brother, Jack (Dottie) Crawford of Burlington, N.C; two sisters, Tessie Mae Kirby of Chapel Hill, N.C. and Louise Durham of Carrboro, N.C; also two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. on September 22, 2004.⁴
