She is survived by her sister, Mrs. Ethel Patton of Max Meadows; three children and their spouses, Billie and Walter Jennings of Little Rock, Arkansas, Bob and Lynne Graham of Oriskany, and Dan and Teresa Clark of Blue Ridge; grandchildren, Bryan Jennings and Briana Jennings Diez, Matthew and Melinda Graham, Robert and Ryan Clark; and great-grandson, Zachary Jennings. Ida had a love of nature and the spirit of a warrior. She transcended generations with a friendly ear for anyone with a burden. Ida had many dear friends and touched all who knew her. Always missed, never forgotten. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Vinton Chapel at 11 a.m. Friday, July 2, 2004 with the Rev. Robert W. Lanier officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to The American Cancer Society, and will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. 982-2221 on July 1, 2004.2
