She was a member of Bluewell United Methodist Church, church choir and Susannah Wesley Circle. She was a teacher of the Adult Women's class. Survivors: husband, H. C. Poff; sons, Robert G.      Leonard Jesse Watkins Leonard Jessie Watkins, 68, died Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at High Point Medical Center. He was born August 29, 1952 in Washington County, Virginia and was the son of the late Painter Andrew and Rosa Lee Colvin Watkins. He loved trucking and was a truck driver for Future Foam for many years. Leonard was a giver and had many loyal friends and also enjoyed playing golf. He had attended Full Armour Christian Church in Trinity and The Mission Church in High Point. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Louise Ferguson; and three brothers, Fred Watkins, Howard Watkins, and Andrew Watkins. Leonard is survived by his children, Shannon Watkins of Trinity, Bradley Watkins of Bristol, VA and Jennifer Martin of Damascus, VA; two granddaughters, Shelby Doerle and Saleen Watkins of Trinity; three sisters, Nancy Serenda of Cleveland, OH, Martha Crain (Ernest) of Abington, VA, and Lucille Hopkins of Archdale; two brothers, Clifford Watkins (Kathy) of Damascus, VA and Henry Watkins (Gail) of Abington, VA; several nieces and nephews; and his former wife, Teresa Watkins Barnes of Trinity.
