Burial will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park, London. on May 20, 2002.9

After his retirement from the military, he worked for and retired from Fitch Welding supply. He was a Methodist. Survivors include his wife, of the home; four daughters: Rhonda Hight, Lawton; Rita Frisner, Lakewood, Wash; Wilma Adamson, Sterling; and Mary Margaret Petry, California; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Margeret Vance. on September 5, 2002.7

More often than not her house was full of family and friends who would come to enjoy her, and her fantastic cooking.
