     Patricia Lynn "Pat" Barkheimer was born on September 3, 1960 at Jacksonville, Duval Co., Florida.^3,5,4 As of September 9, 1989,her married name was Hill.⁴ She married Richard Lynn Hill on September 9, 1989 at Floyd Co., Virginia.^1,2,3,4 Patricia Lynn "Pat" Barkheimer died on May 26, 2013 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia, at age 52.^3,6,5 She Patricia Lynn Barkheimer Hill, 52, of Roanoke County, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013. A beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister and friend, Pat was born in Jacksonville, Fla. and had been an area resident for most of her life. She was a long time employee of Valcom, Inc. and was an active member and team mom at Mason Cove Recreation Club. Her father, Robert L. Barkheimer, and a brother, Jeff Barkheimer, preceded her in death. She is survived by her mother, Phyllis Barkheimer; her loving husband, Richard Hill; son, Joshua Hill; a brother, Gary Barkheimer and partner, James Farmer; father-in-law, Buddy Hill; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Pam Hill; uncles and aunts, Pat and Peggy Wilson, and Mike and Peggy Wilson; a special nephew, Jason Barkheimer; numerous other nieces and nephews and close friends. Pat will also be missed by her loving dog, Lacy, who never left her side. The family would like to take this opportunity to send a special thanks to all of her friends who stayed by her side throughout her illness, Pat, we love you and you will be missed by many. on May 29, 2013.³

     Richard Lynn Hill Richard Lynn Hill, age 69, of Salem, Virginia, passed away on October 21, 2025. He was born on June 21, 1956, to the late Clarence E. Hill and Hazel V. Meador Hill. He was married to the late Patricia Hill.      Michael Curtis "Mike" Elmore was buried at Sherwood Burial Park, 1045 Lynchburg Turnpike, Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.¹ He married Kathleen C. Lyle.¹ Michael Curtis "Mike" Elmore was born on January 8, 1955 at Richlands, Tazewell Co., Virginia.¹ He died on February 13, 2015 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 60.¹ He Michael Curtis (Mike) Elmore Sr., 60, of Roanoke, Va., passed away peacefully at home on Friday, February 13, 2015, surrounded by family. Mike was born in Richlands, Va., on January 8, 1955. He was proceeded in death by stepfather, Joe C. Brown; and grandson, Dustin C. Hayth. Mike is survived by his wife, Kathleen C. Lyle-Elmore; son, Michael C. Elmore Jr; daughter, Samantha A. Blankenship; stepchildren, Donald R. Lyle Jr., Ms. Karla D. Lyle, and Ms. Melissa L. Lyle; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; mother, Georgia M. Brown; father, Audrey M. Elmore; sister, Patricia "Trish" E. Collins; stepbrother, Charlie C. Brown; stepsister, Anita B. Hines; and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his constant loyal canine companion, Gabby. Mike worked in the steel industry for 40 years - first with Roanoke Electric Steel and continuing with the company after the change to Steel Dynamics. Throughout his lifetime, Mike devoted himself to caring for family and friends. He never met a stranger and touched many lives. He will be sadly missed by all. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 2840, Roanoke, VA 24018. Memorial Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 20, 2015, at Oakey's North Chapel. Preacher Jimmy Goad will officiate. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2015, and from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2015, at Oakey's North Chapel, 540-362-1237. on February 17, 2015.¹

She was the widow of Charles W. Stapleton and was a longtime member of Christ Lutheran Church. Surviving is a daughter and son-in-law, Miriam S. and Andrew M. Harvey Jr; one sister, Mrs. Louise Johnson; one granddaughter, Julia Harvey Sellers; one grandson, Andrew M. Harvey III, all of Roanoke; four great-granddaughters, a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted in Evergreen Burial Park at 3 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Linda S. Mitchell will officiate. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday. on April 3, 1993.³
