Strickland, 87, of Frame entered into rest July 19, 2009, in Teresa's Personal Care Home after an extended illness. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Kathleen was a member of Antioch Advent Christian Church and Faith Rebekah Lodge 57. Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Strickland. She is survived by her son and his wife, Richie and Kay Strickland of Elkview; two grandsons, Kevin Strickland of Buckhannon and Kyle Strickland of Elkview; two great-granddaughters, Tabitha and Samantha Strickland; one great-grandson, Ethan Strickland; two brothers, Jerry and Ronald Young; and three sisters, Naomi Nida, Francine Sutcliffe and Sandra Stricklen. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 24, at Myers Funeral Home, Elkview, with the Rev. Rick Sams officiating. Burial will be in Koontz Cemetery, Clendenin. Friends may call two hours prior to service at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Myers Funeral Home, Elkview. on July 22, 2009.1

Strickland, on June 3, 1957 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.1,2 Delores Letha "Toots" Wolfe died on February 3, 2011 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia, at age 72.3,2 She Delores Letha "Toots" Canterbury, 72, of St. Albans passed away Thursday, February 3, 2011, at Hubbard Hospice House. She was born May 22, 1938, in Kanawha County a daughter of Wilmer and Dorothy Gunnoe Wolfe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar; and twin baby boys. Toots was a wonderful, loving, and caring mother, sister and friend. She will be sadly missed. She is survived by daughters, Kathy Taylor and her husband, Doug, of St. Albans, Hope Ramsey and her husband, Ed, of Big Chimney and Debbie Barger of Pinch; grandchildren, AJ Jackson, Beth Jackson, Jeff Barger, Kim Cavender and Ed Ramsey; two great-grandchildren, Kaylec Cavender and Maddie Cavender; two stepgrandchildren, Jennifer Goodwin and Jessica Lattea; sisters, Eleanor Benyak and her husband, Paul, of Naples, Fla., and Mary Cantwell of Virginia; and brothers, James Wolfe and his wife, Lois, of Hurricane, Warren Wolfe and his wife, Jane, of Ripley, Luther Wolfe and John Wolfe and his wife, Gwen, all of Sissonville, Ed Wolfe and his wife, Dreama, of St. Albans and Bob Wolfe and his wife, Karen, of Parkersburg. A celebration of Toots' life will be 3 p.m. Sunday, February 6, at Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home, 110 B St., St. Albans, with Pastor Mike Ramsey officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be one hour before the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Kennawa Drive, Charleston, WV 25311. on February 5, 2011.2
