He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Jacob Dewease Sr and Geneva Martha Dewease; and son, Christopher Jacob Dewease. PD was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed gardening, and was a skilled carpenter. He was a 40 year resident of Craig County. He loved his dogs and his truck, which he was especially proud of. Family left to cherish his memory include his wife, Margaret Dewease; stepdaughters, Michelle Delby and husband Jason and Marie Jamison; stepgrandchildren, Nathan and Garett Delby and Maraya Gray; and special friend, Ed Sarver. A memorial service to honor PD's life will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem.      Wiley Edward Eagle was buried at Fort Hill Memorial Park, 5196 Fort Avenue, Lynchburg, Virginia.1,2 He Wiley Edward Eagle, 73, of Lynchburg died Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at Lynchburg General Hospital. Born in Appomattox on November 21, 1935 he was a son of the late David William Eagle and Lula Godsey Eagle and was the husband of Elsie Virginia Eagle. Wiley was the owner and operator of the Texas Inn for a number of years. He also attended Tree of Life Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Wiley Edward Eagle, Jr. and his wife, Shari of Evington. A daughter, Tracie Lynn Eagle of Lynchburg. Four step sons, Glen Dewease and his wife, Karen of Forest, Patrick W. Morris and Tim L. Morris both of Lynchburg and John E. Morris and his wife, kharon of Raleigh. A step daughter, Ginny L. Coleman and her husband, Jeff of Forest. Six grandchildren, six step grandchildren and three step great grandchildren. Two brothers, Lyle Eagle and Junior Eagle both of Appomattox. A sister, Alice Sale of Lynchburg. Wiley was preceded in death by four brothers, David W. Eagle, Andrew Eagle, Alfred Eagle and Bobbie Eagle and by six sisters, Louise Phelps, Mary Bohannon, Edna Bettis, Elizabeth Jones, Dorothy Eagle and Shirley Eagle. A Celebration of Wiley's Life will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, February 7, 2009 at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel with Pastor Mike Dodson officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 PM tonight at the funeral home.2

     Glenn Jeffrey DeWease was buried at Virginia Memorial Park, Forest, Bedford Co., Virginia.1 He was born on August 17, 1955 at Roanoke, Virginia.1 He married Karen Perry circa 1982.1 Glenn Jeffrey DeWease died on January 9, 2015 at Richmond, Virginia, at age 59.1 He Glenn Jeffrey DeWease, 59, of Forest, passed away Friday, January 9, 2015 in VCU Medical Center. Born in Roanoke August 17, 1955, he was a son of the late Arvil Carlton DeWease and the late Joyce DeWease Eagle. He was the loving husband of Karen Peery DeWease for 33 years. Glenn is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Lyndsie DeWease. He is also survived by his brother, Eddie Eagle, and his sister Tracie Eagle. Glenn served in the US Air Force; worked for John P. Hughes Motor Company for 30 years and was service manager at Apple Ford. He loved NASCAR and football, especially the Baltimore Ravens, and was an avid golfer at Ivy Hills Golf Club. He was also a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Heritage Funeral Service and Crematory. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, January 14, 2015 in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service and Crematory. Interment will follow in Virginia Memorial Park. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Richard Fagg and Perma Dewease Fagg Dove; brothers, Robert Fagg, Norman Fagg and Paul Fagg. Harold served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a mechanic by trade but was a man of many talents. He could fix anything and if he couldn't fix it, it couldn't be fixed. Many people called on Harold to work on their vehicles and lawn mowers. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Reva King Fagg; his four children, Charlene Walton (Mike), Wendell Fagg (Peggy), Mason Fagg, Jr. (Linda), Greg Fagg (Julin); grandchildren, Holly Davis, Stephen Smith, Josh Walton, Matthew Walton, Erin Carroll, Derek Fagg, Tyler Fagg, Lilyann Fagg, Autumn Fagg; his most precious great-grandchildren, Taylor and Ashlyn Davis, Julia and Mason Carroll and Addison Fagg. Donations may be made to Gentle Shepherd Hospice of Roanoke, who the family came to appreciate dearly. Interment will be held in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. on November 22, 2014.2

Eighth St. in Waynesboro, died Wednesday, April 25, 2007, at Waynesboro Hospital. Born Nov. 15, 1933, in Blacksburg, Va., he was the son of the late Monza M. and Gladys Pearl Wells Dewease. He attended Smithsburg High School. He was a quality control inspector for Teledyne Landis Machine in Waynesboro, retiring in 1997. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, serving with the 527th Military Police. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rouzerville, Pa. He was a member of Joe Stickell American Legion Post 15 of Waynesboro, and AARP. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn C. Cordell Dewease, whom he married Oct. 3, 1953; one daughter, Tina Marie Chamberlin of Waynesboro; three sons, Stuart A. Dewease Jr. and Kirk D. Dewease, both of Waynesboro, and Lance E. Dewease of Fayetteville, Pa; two sisters, JoAnn Caron of Burlington, N.C., and Janet Stone of Hagerstown; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister and six brothers. Services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro, with the Rev. Dr. Stephen D. Harris officiating. Burial will be in Harbaugh Church Cemetery near Rouzerville. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to York County Racing Club Injured Drivers Fund, 568 Yale St., York PA 17403. on April 28, 2007.4
