Sayers, 61, of Roanoke, Va., went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 25, 2015. He was a graduate of James Madison University and was employed at Redwood United Methodist Church as Music Minister. He is survived by his wife, Sue Sayers; sons, Cory Sayers and Dean Sayers; sisters, Vi Hauenstein and husband, Bill, of Fairfax, Va., and Barbara Ady and husband, Don, of Summit, N.J; and niece and nephews, Scott, Wendy and Kim. Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, 2015, at Salem Wesleyan Church. The Rev. Brad Dulaney and the Rev. Ken Dupin will officiate. The family will receive friends there at the church from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday before the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Music Department at Redwood United Methodist Church. Arrangements by Oakey's South Chapel, 540-989-3131. on February 28, 2015.2
