Brown, Gregory Dalton Brown, Cole B. Styron, Caleb G. Miller, Ethan J. Miller and McKenna C. Miller; sister Joyce Terreo and husband Tony of Wheaton, Ill. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, November 9, 2012 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel, with Minister Jim Wilson officiating. Entombment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. She was in her 78th year. Jenna Lee Minor was born on July 15th, 1933, at Eccles; her parents were the late Floyd and Edna Fleming Minor. Jenna Lee was a lifelong resident of Wyoming Avenue here in Beckley. She retired five years ago from Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital (the Miner's Memorial Hospital) after 50-plus years of employment. Jenna Lee is loved and heart-breakingly missed by her daughter, Sharon Brown Wisner and son-in-law, Bobby, formerly from Cape Coral, Florida, now residing in Beckley; her son, Gary Nathan Brown and daughter-in-law, Pam, of Beckley; two grandsons, Nathan Alan Brown of Stockbridge, GA, and companion, Dana Cargile, and Christopher James Brown of Fayetteville, currently a student at MSU in the PA program; a sister, Mary Lou Minor Falterman of Austell, GA; and a brother, Floyd Minor Jr. of Masula, Montana; two stepgrandchildren, along with nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Jenna Lee is a member of the Bethlehem Chapter #71, Order of the Eastern Star. Although she was raised in the Baptist faith, she supported the Methodist faith. When we reflect on Jenna Lee, we remember she was the loving and supportive wife of Nathan for 62 years and the greatest, kindest, loving mother and grandmother. God surely blessed us, we her family. When Jenna Lee worked midnight shift at the hospital, she was still present for all ballgames, band concerts, Girl and Boy Scouts meetings and events for the Rainbow Girls. She was "The Rock" behind her loving family. There were numerous times she also lent a hand to care and help neighbors, friends and co-workers unselfishly. The void our family faces without the support of our Mother and Daddy, "No words can ever fully explain." We would like to thank all those who have visited and talked with Mom and "us." Thanks for all the support and kind words. On Tuesday, March 20th, at 1 p.m., we will remember our dear Jenna Lee with a "Service of Remembrance" at the Melton Mortuary Chapel. David Rumberg will be officiating. Jenna Lee will then be laid to rest beside her beloved Nathan in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum at Prosperity. Pallbearers will be her son, Gary Nathan Brown, grandsons, Nathan Alan and Christopher James Brown, nephews, Michael and Greg Brown and Alan Bragg. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the services on Tuesday. on March 19, 2012.2
