He was born March 7, 1959, in Charleston, W.V., to Jim and Shirley Davis now of Waxahachie and was the oldest of four sons. He was known as "Panda" or Big Mike to his friends. Mike was a son, a father and a grandfather and he enjoyed all three roles. Mike attended Sheppard College in West Virginia, Culinary School in Denver, Colo., and worked in the family restaurant business until moving to Texas. He worked with his father and brothers in the cellular business, managing several of their stores. He is survived by his parents; three brothers, Bruce, Stephen and Richard; one son, Jason Davis; one daughter, Leeann Money; four grandchildren, Alisha Davis of West Virginia, Anthony Snyder, Jessica Snyder and Shyanne Money, all of Cleburne. He was a great lover of animals, the outdoors and cooking. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, at Cowboy Church of Ellis County with a meal following the service. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Cowboy Church of Ellis County, 2374 U.S. Highway 287 Bypass West, Waxahachie, TX 75167 or the Ellis County SPCA, 2570 FM 878, Waxahachie, TX 75165, in Mike's name. Arrangements are by Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home in Waxahachie. on February 9, 2011.1

Friends may visit at the funeral home from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Rosary will be recited at 7;30 p.m. Wednesday. on January 7, 1975.2
