He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, William "Bill" and Beverly Burdette of Procious; sisters and brothers-in-law, Irene and Larry Truman of Maysel and Darlene and J.B. Butcher of Clay; and nieces and nephews, Betty Ann Lowther of Hurricane, Christy Burdette, Adam Burdette, and Dusty Rose Burdette, all of Procious, Michael Burdette of Thomasville, N.C., Larry Truman Jr. of Lexington, N.C., J.B. Butcher Jr. of Summersville, and Brandi Crawn of Oak Harbor, Wash. Burial will follow in the Sams Cemetery, Procious. on March 24, 2005.2
